yeah, physics are numbers. while graphics are not numbers. ai is not numbers. electricity is numbers. LOL HAHAHA

Does it really fucking matter what the graphics look like from one machine to other provided the games are great?

I am getting a little bored of all the "PS3 will be better cos.." and "The cell is way more powerfull than..".

    Who gives a fuck?

    /goes back to playing FN03

Physics and AI rely on number crunching, graphics also depends on how fast the video data is passed, as well as pure number crunching. Try investigating a bit, before taking the piss :-)

Well the PS3 is powerful than the 360, all developers want is better tools *developers words not mine* i mean resistance was shown in realtime and it looks great.

I suggest you read the anandtech artcile that goes through the PS3 and 360 hardware side by side and compares overal system power. This site is not an MS or Sony sight so it is a neutral article.

    http://www.anandtech.com/video/showdoc.aspx?i=2453

A summary is graphically they have virutally identicle capabilites.

The place the PS3 has the extra power is the CPU though the big question is if it is usable power and if it will actually make any difference in games.

Of course the Anandtech article could only go off of the information Sony have actually published. If specs change at the final unveiling then all bets are off but certainly for the moment the "belief" that the PS3 is superior to the 360 is just that.

Anandtech is not neutral, they have a vested interest in both of these products failing in favour of PC hardware.

Well if they hate them both equally then that would make them neutral for the purposes of the article ;)

The kikzio article clearly states that developers don't have final hardware so if developers can get good looking visuals on an inferior hardware then imagine the full thing? Its also clear that its not hard to develop for the beast of a machine, the only complication are the 7SPEs

Sorry frod I am unable to decipher the meaning of that comment. I am quite dense when it comes to the written word so it often needs to be spelled out simple like for me ;)

The 360 is just a PC though. It has patches.
