Apparently it's been confirmed for tomorrow, 3pm Tokyo time, and will discuss Sony's future strategy for the Playstation business. Ken and all senior Sony staff will be present, so get your hype umbrellas ready. Apparently the press are expecting at least a date and a price, and possibly a partial launch line-up. Trying to find the actual story for a link, but it's on Bloomberg and the site's not even remotely helpful. |

" Sony, characteristically, is remaining highly secretive about the announcement - as the Japanese working day (Tuesday) closes, details of the meeting have yet to be released to the Japanese media.
Ken Kutaragi will front the briefing in Tokyo at 3:00 p.m. local time (late night / early hours in the U.S.).
It's expected that the machine's new launch schedule and pricing will be unveiled as well as some details of its online service - revealed here some weeks ago - which will offer consumers the ability to play online as well as downloading free and paid interactive and non-interactive content.
It's not known how much information will be released regarding the U.S. launch. Given the probability that Sony is facing a number of problems with its launch, the company may seek to release as little information as possible.
We expect an announcement to be made within the next 24 hours. Next Generation will have full details as they emerge." -
