    Hi guys/fountains of knowledge,

    I've got to send out a big parcel (12 KG) and want to know the most cost effective way of sending it out? I've never used couriers before, and wouldn't know who would be the cheapet to use. Anybody here got any good ideas?

    Cheers in advance.

    M

    (FYI - I'm based in London, package to go to Stoke On Trent)

    UPS have always been great for me. Or, If you take your parcel down to Mailboxes etc, they'll give you plenty of options at various prices.

    Cheers Deem. I think i'll also just call around and see what deals I can get. I was just being lazy, somebody might have had a little jem up their sleeve!!

    I'm looking to post a package, about 7KG.

    I've found this site Parcel2Go

    Surprisingly cheap but I'm not too sure about them. Anyone used such a site or recommend a decently priced courier who can collect?

    thanks

    No need to create another thread. This shall suffice. :)

    @localnotail

    Thanks, seems similar to the one I posted so that's good.

    @CrispyXUK.

    Cool, guess these are okay to use.

    Now to pick a courier, UPS advertising might work and I do like their trucks but no Tom Hanks. :D

    I sent a parcel using parcel abc, but when it arrived it only contained five thousand angry fire ants and a complete set of Goosebumps novels.

    Lol this place has the most fucking odd folk. Who realistically would bump a thread this old with a genuine answer.

    I wonder if we can get this thread to the top of the Parcel ABC SEO rankings...

    I once used parcel abc and all they received was a brown paper bag with shit in it.

    I once used parcel ABC and the delivery van went through the front of the house killing my family and leaving me an orphan. Don't even get me started on the time I used them after that.

    I think they mixed our orders up. To be honest I was wondering who would buy so many cushions with Decks' picture of superbob on

    Parcel ABC came to pick up a parcel from me. They attempted to kick their way through my front door, but due to what I assume was a massive calcium deficiency, all I heard was his leg bone shattering into tiny shards followed by 10 minutes of screaming before he calmed down. I did eventually answer the door and handed him the parcel once he requested it, but he kept dropping it as he hopped back to his delivery van due to his gravel-like bones in his left leg.

    When he got to hisnvan, he opened the side door to show an industrial shredder. He then looked me directly in the eye and fed the parcel into the shredder, repeatedly shouting "I AM FROM PARCEL ABC AND I AM SHREDDING YOUR PARCEL" (which I had already successfully deduced), before he slipped and fell into the shredder.

    Probably wouldn't use again.
