Fuck yeah - slam those bastards in the oven. I had Golden Wonder keyrings and everything. -
You can't do that with modern packets, can you? Stupid foil packets. -

I wasn't allowed to
Damn my Mum. I only managed to bake my conkers (phnarr!) once she went out as well. -

I had to console myself by stealing her playing cards to make spokey-dokeys.
So who had the last laugh, eh Mum?!

Registered 20 years agoThey're not crisps, but I was just given a bag of 15p Space Raiders (pickled onion flavour, natch) by our helpdesk monkey.
I feel like I've been fellating a frenchman for the last 10 mins. My mouth has actually gone numb. Glorious stuff! -
Get in, I love it when you get a particularly "salty" one.. ooh my mouth is watering at the prospect.
I played the crisp lottery this morning and lost. Opened a big multibag and said to myself I'll take the first bag I grab... Was only bloomin' prawn cocktail weren't it.

I can't seem to find them anywhere. -
ahh dude.. that's, that's just NASTY!
But no, they're in my bag still. I think I'll wait until no one sees me eating them/her.
oh ew eugh.. -
Can you still get those plain crisps that had the blue salt sachet in? Those were my favourite.

Registered 17 years agoAnyone had the hot Seabrooks range yet? I've had Wasabi (Foul), Mustard (Very similar to Wasabit) and Jalapeno/ Habanero (lovely).
Still waiting for some place to get the other variety they do (curry?). -

Registered 20 years agoI had some of those KP Wasabi peanuts. Christ almighty they're horrible. I like Wasabi, but these are like some sort of fake tasting rancid shit that's pretending to give you the same heat as a good wasabi paste does. Not recommended unless you're the sort of person who likes to eat the contents of ashtrays -
Brannigans have rebranded. They're now in odd purple/brown bags that are supposed to look oldschool, and have a butcher on the front who looks like a child molester.
I think they're slightly stronger than they used to be too. -

like Shrinky Dinks
You could do them on toasters as well, IIRC.
they have probably changed the substance crisp packets are made of now to stop people having any fun. -

Salt n' Shake? Yeah I think you can.
Anyway, Nik Naks and Smith's mini packets of Bacon Fries are my favourites. -
Yeah, Smiths Bacon Fries are great. Could do with 3 times as much in the packet though, at least. -

Registered 15 years agoDoes anyone remember French Fries from around 20 yeas ago? I know they still make them but the ones from back then always used to have a few, super hardcore, flavor lumps at the bottom of the pack. The S&V ones were almost enough to turn your head inside out!
Up to date crisp favorites are , in no order of preference, S&V square crisps are a good start, Tomato snaps hmmm, any wheat crunchies but tomato are the best. S&V discos n hula hoops. I'm a bit partial to scampi fries as well but nearly always regret it by the end of the packet :[ -
Oh right.
Whatever happened to Tubes anyway? They were basically exactly the same as Squares only (obviously) in the form of a tube. They were awesome. -
