Mister 'F'!
I've watched the first 3 episodes of the 4th Season. I'm not too impressed so far. Still good though. -

Registered 17 years agoI've just started watching this, and about 10 episodes or so in it still isn't funny. Though there are a few very funny gags in that little bit right at the end of a few episodes I'm finding by and large that everyone is just annoying and needs a slap. When does it get funny? -

Registered 17 years agoI've done three episodes and it's just one of them programs that isn't hilarious and needs to be "AHAHAHAHAHA" all the time, it's generally kept me entertained and amused so i'm gonna carry on with it! -

Registered 15 years agoI know people are saying the first few are a bit pants and push through but it's just doing nothing for me. Think I'm gonna quit. I don't like him the characters are separated. -

Registered 15 years agoDon't understand how some people are not enjoying this. The writing is extremely high quality, just like it always has been, the jokes are thick and fast and still as meme-y and clever as they always were.
Just watched Maeby's episode, was expecting it to not be as good as some of the other character's but I was wrong.
I love the meta-references such as Michael trying to get everyone together for a movie.
I'm gonna be sad when it's finished.

Registered 12 years agoI agree. Maebe (...) some episodes aren't up to AD standard, but they're still better than most other shows on at the moment.
@wobbly_Bob
How far did you get? -
The new ones were pretty good, but I found them more clever than funny. It's as if they put all the energy into the overlap jokes over everything else. -
It is better when filmed 'normally'. But this is still cracking in parts. -
Kinda went off this if I'm honest. Just got bored of it as the most it was doing was raising an odd smile. Think I'm just not in the mood at the moment. But I did just crack up at "You're a terrible mother" from George Michael. -
And done. Not sure what to make of it. Very, very clever but not that many laughs. George Michael's were the funniest of the bunch by far which is odd as Tobias and Gob are probably my favourite characters. It was good and I can't wait for the next series (didn't know there was going to be one) but didn't crack me up like the first two series. Although if I'm honest they don't crack me up anymore either so maybe I'm just not in the mood for it at the moment. -
I think it's telling for me that the single funniest moment was when the Curb theme started playing when Jeff was stuck in the window. -
That interview with mitch hurwitz is interesting, because in essence what he's really done with the series is use it so that a potential future movie won't be cluttered with explaining back story. Plus also all that stuff about getting the actors when they're available.
Having just 2 days when the whole cast was together? What are they all so busy on? -
Will Arnett seems to be in a new sitcom every week, and Michael Cera is trying to Executive Produce his way to the top, but christ knows what everyone else was doing. -

Will Arnett's was still on contract to Up All Night while shooting, Tony Hale was full time on Veep, Jessica Walter was on Broadway, Jeffrey Tambor doing Hangover/Last Caller/seminars, Portia di Rossi on contract to Mockingbird Lane, David Cross was touring comedy I believe, Michael Cera was on the AD4 writing staff and I believe Alia Shawkat was shooting the To Do List then, Jason Bateman changed his movie schedule around to appear in more episodes I believe as well... he gets the most screentime.

Registered 14 years agoLike other series, I think the episodes will improve upon repeated viewing. I've seen the entire series now and felt as though it depended too much on overlapping jokes from previous series.
In the previous series, I found Maeby and GM quite annoying characters but found their episodes the best this series. Also loved the Gob and Tony Wonder episode. -
Reached the end but didn't feel much motivation to actually get there. I will watch it all again but, overall, colour me very disappointed.
