I currently have a Canon IXUS 430 and I want to get a DSLR which will perform better than this. I want to have a decent zoom lens and a good day-to-day lens. I plan to buy the following but please suggest any improvements: 350D + 18-55 kit lens from Microglobe.co.uk at Discout price Sigma 55 - 200 lens from Jessops Please helpe me - choosing the body was easy, the lenses is not If I go back into the world of "proper cameras" what's the recommendation? Have you seen Nikon's and Minolta's offerings too?
