    clicky

The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess
    Metroid Prime 3: Corruption
    Wii Sports
    Red Steel
    Tony Hawk's Downhill Jam
    Madden NFL 2007
Dragon Quest Swords: The Masked Queen and the Tower of Mirrors
    Super Monkey Ball: Banana Blitz
    Metal Slug Anthology
    Trauma Center: Second Opinion
    Elebits
    Marvel: Ultimate Alliance
    Blitz: The League
    Rayman Raving Rabbids
SpongeBob SquarePants: Creature from the Krusty Krab
    Disney/Pixar's Cars

Apparently this was confirmed by Nintendo yesterday. A bit disheartening for me at the moment, without a Mario game in sight, but it has potential. Nintendo's may apprently add to the list, which would be thouroughly welcomed.

I think Rayman may be my first platformer/adventure game for the system, like Rayman 2 was for the N64.

Spongebob, YES! Nah, it's a decent lineup so far but it is just a matter of how many of those games turn out to be good.

    LoZ: TP = yes
    MP3: C = yes
    Wii sports = likely
Red Steel = if it's good
    Rayman = likely
    The rest = we'll see

I have heard that the contols are very sensitive and in the FPS's turning is a problem. I'm hoping the developers can fix this, it sounds frustrating.

Yep, Red Steel better be improved by launch, it'll be a pitty if it tanks. Retro Studios sort of half-confirmed that they'll be fixing the sensitivity in MP3.

Out of curiosity, are these forums ever very busy? I just joined. I'm one of those American idiots who got tired of Gamespot.

Yeah, I had high hopes for Red Steel. I loved the trailer but when we see gameplay it looks like crap. What's the deal?

Doubt he needs to post on the same topic twice.

Zelda, Wii Sports, Prime 3, Red Steel maybe...

Certainly more there that interests me than the 360 launch, and I still got one of those. :)

Not convinced by that line-up. A lot like the 360 launch line up solid but unspectacular.
If I had not gotten rid of my Cube I would probably wait.

But since I did I will be picking one up just for Twilight Princess.

    Welcome to the forum emmenite.

All potential buys. Strong line up if the respective maybe's pull their respective rabbits out of their respective hats.

Still don't get the 'it'll be a shame if Red Steel flops' comments. It's been placed on such a pedestal just because it was announced early - it looks like a shit shooter with a Wii remote.

Personally I think Ubi shot themselves in the foot releasing info about it pre-E3. Especially allowing those nice-looking scans to leak.

EDIT: Hats. Rabbits come from hats.

Zelda, MP, DQ all guaranteed buys. Shouldn't need much more than that for a while.

Super Monkey Ball could be a great game also if the controls work out well.

Can you pre-order a Wii yet in the UK? I've never bought a console on launch before but I'm well tempted to get this on launch day.

I wonder what period of time is considered as launch? 3 months? 6 months?

I would call bluff on some of those titles. Dragon Quest Swords: The Masked Queen and the Tower of Mirrors for instance, only just announced with no screenshots or any sort of information out there and no showing at E3.

Its not like SquareEnix to miss out on spunking screenshots all over the place, I would surmise that there is nothing as of yet to show.

If that was the case Mario would be on there.

actually, it seems that the more I consider the lineup the more I realise that I won't actually be able to buy all the games I want, especially if they're upwards of £40 ea. I'll probably end up buying TLoZ: Twilight Princess, Metal Slug Anthology and Rayman Raving Rabbids.

I was hoping for more multiplayer games. It looks like just Wii Sports and Monkey Ball will be the main "party" games, so it'll probably be them two with Metroid and Zelda.
