Just got mail from most popular here in Poland online gaming shop. They just set Wii preorder(launch in November) for 999 Zloty that calculates 254 Euro and 173 GBP.

Note that this shop almost always oveprices consoles a bit.
Sorry if it's old. How much are Wii preorders here in UK/your country?

My preferred gaming shop GameStation aren't taking pre-orders yet as the UK price and launch date haven't been announced yet. But here's hoping it's £180 or less, but I have a feeling it'll be £200 at least.

EDIT: Whoops! Really bad typo :( Very sorry Razz!!

200 to 250, seems about right when you look at previous figurs.

Nah £200 is just too much.

    Games £35 an unreasonable ask?

I think so too. I' would even guess around the £130-150 mark. I don't think even £170 would be that bad if they put a half decent demo/tutorial disk into the mix, just so people can get use to the controller.

I think game prices will vary wildly though - not just the virtual console ones either. I think a number budget titles for £25 might be available (not from launch but 6-12 months down the line) and the AAA titles being £40. Nintendo mayl give a lot of freedom to the publshers for the price of games to win them over.

Nope. That would be me guess for most online retail prices, £40 in store. I don't think we'll be seeing £50 games on the Wii, and that £40 will probably come down well before its time is up.

My guess before christmas was £130 - GC launch price.

But now I've seen what the Wii can do, and more importantly, what's likely to be in the package, I can see that's clearly a silly price. £180 is snap-up money.

I wonder would they be stupid enough to price them at the same as the 360 and PS3 prices?
