I´d gladly pay about 199£ at launch. Most likely that´s wher it´s going to wind up as well....
Really? Nintendo said this week that the price would be in line with that of US and Japan. That works out at £134 - They said US price won't exceed $250.
Plus VAT, I doubt it'll get past £150. Based on Nintendo's recent comments, there's no reason to expect to be paying more than that.

I think the price of games (RRP) is more of an undetermined issue, and as such more interesting to discuss, really.
I think £39.99 is an acceptable amount for most, for the games to remain accessible to the mainstream. Project: HAMMER will probably end up being sold cheaper, though! :p

Well, I mainly based it on the boss of the swedish distributor saying it would be around 2500 swedish crowns so I might simply be bad at working exchange rates...

And I hope the games aren't going to be fifty quid each, that would kinda blow the whole cheap appeal of it. (Blow and cheap in one sentence without being rude).
I think it's safe to say that the games will be 40£/€60 max. Nintendo have already intimated that this would be the case. Also, I think that you can be certain that will launch before Christmas. If they didn't it would be suicidal.

We are hearing rumours of an October launch, and who knows, considering that manufacturing a Wii must be a hell of a lot easier/quicker than manufacturing a 360 or a PS3, it might actually be true... Time will tell.

Are Wii games on DVDs, or Gamecube discs?

I do wonder how soon a price drop could be expected. If it's going to be an instant plummet, for whatever reason, then I can live without buying it at launch (even £150 is a tad expensive).

    Straight into the mouth?
Well clearly that depends on Miyamoto's mood at the time.

£150 seems like a nothing-price to me. Middle of the road.

Either go for the bargain-tastic £130 mark or the somehow-wholesome-feeling £170, but not an apologetic £150.
