Fast and loose with the definition of "victims" there.

Well, people could be let go because their employer loses income due to piracy so it can make "victims".

On the other hand it's not true that every pirated copy of some medium necessarily equates loss of revenue. A consumer could just as well not have bought the product even if piracy was not an option.

Yeah, KAT going down is a pain is the arse. dx-torrent.com is supposed to be the replacement but I'm not sure how legit that it. Was even driven to have a sniff around Usenet again this morning. Fuck that lark, it's far too much work.

Can I get some of your reasons you give for stealing stuff? I love hearing pirates try to justify why they are entitled to stuff without paying. Could do with a laugh

I do it so I don't have to pay for Sky Sports

It's just like peeping through someone's window and watching their TV, only more elegant and without the creepy peeping bit.

Just as sexually thrilling, which is the other reason I do it

Yarrr. So I discovered last night that my new samsung telly has an IPTV app for watching streaming TV of the yarrr flavour. Any experts out there know good sources for playlists?

We have Sky, Netflix & Prime so get pretty much everything, but for the shows we can't get like The Expanse I stream them, there's some excellent streaming websites out there.

I have Sky, Netflix and Amazon Prime as well. Prime is certainly the least used one of the services I have. But since I live for next day delivery from Amazon, I don't mind paying for that in advance. I now have Sky Q as well. I love the ability to take your recordings with you on a tablet, but find that the UI itself has lost a fair few features compared to what you were able to do on Sky+ HD.

For the first time since getting my Sky Q box, I am taking myself the time to learn about hidden tips and tricks. And totally astonished to discover that if you have lost your bluetooth remote somewhere, you can press the Q button on the Sky Q box itself, and the bluetooth remote will beep. Very cool.

I read yesterday that Australia has started blocking sites. Probably only what's been happening here for the last five years, but I don't really know. I didn't read it all that hard.

Australian ISPs have been blocking pirate sites for a while.

There was some recent court decision however that requires ISPs to redirect traffic from torrent sites to some movie-industry funded anti-piracy site.

Kim Dotcom extradition back on the cards again.

I'd probably have some sympathy if it wasn't for the fact that he is a multimillionaire and he *obviously* would have know that what he was doing was legally risky.
