Am going to Dublin for the Metallica concert and am stuck for a decent cheap hotel. I know some of you lot are oirish so any place you'd reccomend?

Jurys Inn, theres a few dot'd around, the best for location is Christ Church.

Days Inn?

Me and the gf stayed here when visiting my parents. Cheap, tidy and smack bang in the centre of the city.

Yup Jurys Christchurch is the most convenient.
Depends on the venue.

RDS - Jurys Ballsbridge
City Center - Jurys Christchurch
Point - Jurys IFSC

Jurys Ballsbridge isn't an Inn though it's 4 star and quiet expensive. The best cheap hotel near the RDS is Bewleys.

Try to get something on the south side of the city because that's where the venue is. Anything with an even numbered postcode is south side like Dublin 6 or Dublin 8. The lower the number the nearer it is to the centre of town.

Saw em the time before the last time they played here. When Linkin APrk got bottles thrown at them. I live about a minute from the RDS if you need a glass of water after the show.
