Always thought he was a cock. His early attitude was appauling, always thinking his knowledge of the "industry" was special. When infact he talked bollocks (remembers a 35:1 PSP

S sales win he predicted he wouldnt back down from). Arguementative, anoying, childish, offensive.

BUT, I also thought of him as that anoying prat who drinks in the local, and whilst he's a pain, he can be ignord. I wont miss him, but I agree with a fair bit of Mapsters post.

I agree with that so much, I just sent a message to EG Towers agreeing with Rauper's decision to GI him.

Most of all, he was offensive just to be offensive. To the point that I'd had him on ignore for almost a year now, and only recently revomed it, hoping he'd grown up... How wrong was I?

Hm, well, I think it's only fair that I pitch in and agree with Mapster here; I never had a problem with the guy and not only was he pretty decent to me but it seemed like he did quite a number of favours for people on the forums.

But really, the message of late has been crystal clear; the people running this forum do not like the continual relapses into discussions of forum politics, individual vendettas and lengthy threads discussing how one person or another thinks they could run the forum more effectively.

No it's not, but it's a place that most forumites actually care about, and don't want to see reach the levels of the sewer parked nicely outside, where the shit and detritus from our homes already pours out.

Like I said, in my opinion, verm is the court jester. Yes, he can be offensive, but you know he's not serious.

I find some of the serious replies in threads like the one verm killed often a lot more offensive.

Hmmm. I find koti frequently annoying, but he balances that with occasional measured intelligent posts. vermin on the other hand is just offensive in my eyes, and I find it inexplicable that people find him amusing, and exasperating that he was never banned or gi'ed. I did it myself - it's a nicer place without him.

Actually, I've had a few thoughts on the subject. Here's my hypothesis:

rauper's fed up with antagonistic regs scaring away newbies on the site and creating bizarre threads with titles like "woman 'rapes' man and has the baby" (I don't have too much of an issue with those, but you can see where I'm coming from).

Maybe the systematic GI'ing of regs for a brief period could be at hand... Let the n�bs go strong...

More likely, raups probably just sees kotis behaviour of late as damaging to the site's first impressions. We could encounter more of this style of moderation from now on. Regs who shout at 20k'ers... beware.

I didn't really get vermin at first, but personally I think he is very funny. He just doesn't use a smiley like most people when he makes his statements and people get in a tizz about it.
