I'm after something that will allow me to page photographs on my PC view, and group them, aswell as being able to red the exif data in the files too, a kind of WinAmp for photos style thing.

Does anyone know of a particularly good example of one that includes the features above ? Cheers.

Picasa is very good - not a resource hog either.

Picasa even can be used to get the photos off your camera and recognises ones that you have already transferred - very useful for those with a trigger happy camera user in the house.

Slight hijack, but i have a load of photos I've taken which are about 2mb in size each, and taking up far too much space on my HD. Is there a good piece of software for converting them to a smaller resolution so I can free some space up?

Merlinho, any decent image manipulation tool will allow you to resize images, but i don't know of anything that will allow you to batch edit images and resize them. Picasa might, i will let you know once i have downloaded and had a little play with it.

Picasa has an auto web page builder that resizes all the images you select so I'd guess it would also do this without the web page creation.
