Yeah very interesting photo's. It makes me curious as to how the average citizen spends their day. Love to see how the people relax and spend their free time.

As an ideal it is sound, certainly a lot more sound than democracy.
Of course that implies that there is a political system that will actually work ;)

More sound then democracy? That willl be why all Communist states are failed and almost all states that conform to some kind of democratic standard prosper.

An ideal which ignores the human condition is not an ideal, it is a fucked-up fantasy.

    And democracy works?

It works because there is a check system in place to prevent the system to be too much abused but without it you end up with something worst that communism.

And democracy does not really works very well, the party system already cuts off a lot of the democratic principles.

Heck look at the USA were a NINORITY can run the country because of how the election system funtions.

The reason political communist fails is because in order to work everyone on the system must be in good faith and not abuse the system, that the check system is easy to control and so because of human nature we get the failure of the system.

Stop worship democracy as the ideal system, its not.

An ideal which ignores the human condition is not an ideal, it is a fucked-up fantasy.

Communism does not ignore human condition, most communist countries have a much better wealth system that we have.

The basis of the ideal of "common", everyone is equal.

My guess is you are some kind of retarded american that does not know any better because of the "red scare" ... yes, enjoy your fucking retarded country.

Isn't the real argument communism versus capitalism instead of democracy?

Democracy isn't awfully bad. Capitalism however means that if you can kill and cheat and exploit and make money out of it, it's what you should do.

Ah - lemme see. Communist states, and their place on WHOs public health ladder.

    China - 144
    Cuba - 39
    Lao - 165
    N. Korea - 167
    Vietnam - 160
    Turkmenistan - 153

    England is no. 18.

    Anything else?

Equaly, as soon as you can show me a country that has adopted genuine democracy, rather then the representative form we are all familar with...

BTW, I'm not some retard. Nor do I think democracy is infalible. I also happen to know that the USA is not a democracy but a republic, but I guess you are to insular in yer own dumbfuckery to be aware of that. :)

And yes, for communism to work everyone must operate on good faith and resist things like the creation of godheads, which are a defining element of every communist government in history.

So, as I said, it is an fucked-up fantasy not an ideal as any plonker will be able to tell you that ten humans operating on good faith with each other is a miracle, a entire country of millions; well, that's called an impossibility.

Looks like a great place to visit, just from a curious on-looker point of view, and some of the architecture is stunning. Certianly wouldn't want to live there though.

Thanks for the link too btw :)

    Ah, a UN organization ...

Sould I point out how its easy to cheat on that kind of stuff?

I stated "FREE", its easy to put what are private in the public health as long the state pays for it (and good luck with that, most of the time they will charge you later).

Aye, all those boat people and border runners are desperate to escape the wonders of communist healthcare.

I'd be more interested in life expectancy. Oh, look, apart from Cuba, who admitedly have good healthcare, at all those ex communist states with life expectancy of below 50 years.

Besides, even if you could live to be 100 in a Communist paradise the quality of life would be so shite as to not make it worth the trouble.
