2 of my contacts have their names set to 'MSN is fucked', so something's up.

    But, er, I can't tell anything's wrong :-/

The servers are just up and down more than Jodie Marshs knickers.

This is clearly bullshit, Pirotic because, as ever, the MSN Service Status page says everything is fine and dandy. :)

It's screwed somewhere. Can't sign in on MSN, Windows Messenger or E-Messenger. The Service Status only gives the global status, not the individual server status. So if 1% of the global MSN server farm is working, then it'll report all tickety-boo.

Been fine for me all night I'm pleased to say.

Actually, I've had it on Appear Offline all night so ithat's a bit unfair on some of you.

Last night all my contacts disappeared but were still talking to me, which I found a bit odd.

    I think it's gone again.

I get the same error message as before. Also, it takes an unbelievably long time to type an e-mail address into the text box.

Mine's fine at the moment, although it was playing silly buggers last night.

Try logging out and in. Tell me how successful you get.

That's what I did last night, but I'll give it a go.
  • Deleted user 23 June 2006 18:27:07
    Yup, it's fine.

    Error Code: 80040111

And where do I find out exactly what that means?

Never mind. I fixed it. I needed to re-register a DLL file.

    All is well.
