Here's my own effort, of some kind of strange Australian cicada-type thing that crawled across my back decking one afternoon.

Lots of cool shot folks. I really should play a bit more with my macro bellows.
Here's one from a few weeks ago with the KM 5D, kit lens and a cokin +2 filter.

It was definately looking at me, as I moved around it to take more pictures it's gaze followed me. It shuffled along our decking, fell over the edge, and I never saw it again.

You should've hit it with a shoe. Just to be safe.

    Wow, fantastic shots.

I also call you a cheater, not because it was dead, but because I think it was at least 1 meter long. Obviously.

    edit:

    Snap! :D

Pedant! :) Try this wording - "I had no idea you could achieve such a shot with consumer equipment!"

For anyone still interested, here is a link to the original site: http://www.photo.net/photos/siwanowicz

The pics are not as brutally compressed as the ones on the pishmo site. Also, there is plenty more where they came from.

Anyway, I am glad some of you liked them!
If you have any questions concerning equipment/technique, ask away.

Congrats if you are the bod who took them and not just a fellow admirer! :)
