I do agree that the hole in the lid is a tad large but i store mine upside down. The chili and jalapeno isn't really hot but it adds a nice twist with the yellow mustard. It's got me addicted to my weekend hotdogs and burgers again.
Now, what i'd like is some ideas for plastic cheese to go in the burger. real cheese just doesn't seem right and waitrose only does DairlyLea slices which are just too gooey and melty. :(

Kraft cheese slices are pretty good for burgers if you like the whole plastic-cheese thing.

How about squeezy cheese? You can find it in large tescos around this time of year I think.
You put the bottle in the mircowave and blast it first and then squeeze it out. It's the ultimate in plastic cheese. Not sure of the exact brand though.

Last time I was in the States, I had some Mexican Squirty Jalapeno Nacho Cheese and it was the most awesome plastic cheese experience ever.

I'd suggest importing some of that, but Kraft cheese slices or regular squirty cheese would do nicely.

Some decent blue cheese is never wrong on a burger. Works great with bacon.

Brie also works really well on a bacon burger.

Actually, I'm munching my way through a couple of rolls filled with Sainsbury's Mexican Style Cheese & Bean sandwich filling. It's a fresh one from the fridge section.

I reckon it'd be double top in a burger.

Edit/ you mean the little tortilla things Fattie? If so, good choice - they are quite delicious!

No, it's just standard sandwich filling in a little tub that I've put into rolls myself.

    Stand back everyone.

I know my shit when it comes to making a great burger.

Put lettuce, tomatoes, onions and cucumbers in there. More importantly - never forget teh gherkins.

Then a splash of ketchup, and some american style mustard - the mild yellow stuff they put on hotdogs. Then add a tiiiiiiiiiiny splodge of salad cream.

Then toast your baps, melting a cheese slice on the inside of each bap.

Thats it!! - bobs your uncles father, it'll ding dang doo for me, and You'll love it.

    /puts on danny dyer accent

    "NICE ONE BRUVVAAAAA"

He'd love it, infact he'd have me make dozens of them, and jog merrily down the street handing them out to strangers shouting:

"THE MILKY BARS ARE ON ME"

That sounds very close to my burger-making methods megastar, but I've never tried teh salad cream.

If you're up for actually making the burger patty its self, then adding some mint to the meat makes for damn tasty eats!

Better Burger Sauce. For all those that can be bothered.

I made some of this stuff (with a few changed/added ingredients) for a barbecue today and it was amazing.

    Best Burger Sauce ever.

btw, the heinz stuff tastes nothing like the real thing.

Furbs, you've bizarrely forgotten the most crucial element: gherkin.

tourlord - mash a clove of garlic into some sour cream, stir in some tabasco.

Why ruin it? If you dont like the taste of the burger so need to add some vegetable shit to it, dont eat it.

Burger, cheese, bacon and maybe some onion at a push. These are the only legitimate options.
