Firstly, hello everyone! You've amused me for many months as I've lurked...but now is the time to speak - There seems to be a fair amount of digital photography threads on the forum and I have faith in your answers! (And you're all a lot less boring than many photo forums). Which brand of SD (or memory card) do you use for your digital cameras? I'm worried about losing pictures when I'm away (I'm traveling for a few months you see, and as it'll be fairly remote at times, I wont have access to a PC) - Some people say ONLY use Sandisk, some say ONLY use Kingston. I realise that stuff like this has a fan-base built on loyalty (Some people will not hesitate to slate a brand without ever using it. And that loyalty can be lost forever with the slightest doubt or malfunction) - Basically, I'm asking for a general consensus. Which do you use? Which have never failed you?........../runs out of things to say about SD cards Edited by Carphone-Werewolf at 18:36:04 14-07-2006 |

Registered 17 years agoTBH I've always used scandisc and had no problems with them at all. Not sure if that helps really but I have a few cards of varying sizes and not got any lost/corrupt data so far.

Yeah, doesn't mean ones not on the list won't work, just we haven't tested them yet cos the manufacturers never sent them to us.
D50's lovely. I don't take photos though but I can take the cameras home at the weekend to use.
Might grab an old D200 next week...

Good for pretending you're a photojournalist. You'd also need some kind of safari hunting vest for the full effect...................and stubble.
