Shocking refereeing in the derby match between Atletico and Real Madrid.. Atletico just had a goal dissallowed and then Guti trips an Atletico player from behind so that he falls into a team-mate, and Guti who falls down theatrically holding his head (!?) is awarded a freekick.. Registered 17 years agoIt was top versus bottom as Barcelona entertained Atl. Bilbao at the Nou Camp tonight. Barca won 3-0 but with a little luck it could easily have been 6-0, Ronaldinho being the biggest culprit - some nice saves by the Bilbao keeper though..
Best part was at the final whistle.. Ronaldinho swapped shirts and pulled his shorts down a little low to expose some muscles.. He couldn't hide his grin though. If he's fat then I'm thin.. =) -
Ecanem. Don't take this as a criticism, I'm genuinly interested. Why do you always use two full stops? -

Registered 16 years agoDaniel Alves, I never could manage to sign him on FM! Hopefully Liverpool may do next season though, I know Benitez is very interested and with the US cash, I can see him joining in the summer. -

Registered 15 years agoEl Classico starts in a few minutes.. (Barca host Real Madrid) - both teams need to bounce back after crashing out of the CL, Barca can reclaim top spot in La Liga with a win, and Real can get closer to Sevilla and Barca.. - this could be a great match.. =) -

Nistelrooy scored after being gifted the ball by Thuram.. Lionel Messi equalises, and then Guti dives for a penalty (slight contact yes, but he should have an oscar for the fall) and Nistelrooy converts it cooly.. -

Registered 15 years agoCrap.. Sergio Ramos scores on a header from a setpiece. The sending off of Oleguer has totally ruined the match - 1st half was full of attacking play by both sides, 2nd half is just messy - not messi =P -

1st half was.. most of the 2nd half was very dissappointing.
Real had Barca down for the count with the man advantage, and Valdez made a crucial one-handed save on Nistelrooy - but even when Robinho came on for Raul, Madrid didn't go for the kill but were content to sit back and only attack very rarely (Casillas also made a wonderful one-handed save from a Marquez rocket).
Barca seemed without any real hope or inspiration except for Gudjohnson and Messi - and the third goal that completed his hattrick came out of nothing but a great individual run (and a nice pass by Ronaldinho).. -
