Messi's dink around the defender and pass for Vila's goal just now was lovely but WTF kind of defence have you got when one defender totally failing leaves Barca three on two from the half-way line? |

Nice finish from Messi again. So clinical. And just before that he spun a defender around and around until he got fouled. -
@Stevo_football Messi just scored for the 18th league game in a row. The current Premier League team with the best streak is Man Utd, on 17.
Sometimes I wonder if they'd have the same success in the Premiership or Serie A, is the quality of the opposition is getting worse in Spain? Then I remember what they do in the Champions League and Internationally and come to my senses -
Meanwhile in Ligue 1 ...
@OptaJean 16 - Zlatan Ibrahimovic has scored all of his last 16 penalties taken in league games (Ligue 1 and Serie A). Expert.

They can't wrap the title up today as Dortmund won, which is a shame in a way because 9-1 is winning the league in style to say the least. -

Registered 15 years agoI wonder if players have parts in their contract that say I will receive this amount after tax.
I doubt many players get paid that much outside of PSG. Does Monaco count? -

Registered 15 years agoSo Bayern crowned Bundesliga champions with 6 games to spare. Losing one game all season thus far.
Not sure why Jupp Heynckes wants to retire. How jammy are their fans though, of all the out of work managers they could have had to replace him, none come bigger than Guardiola.

Registered 15 years agoBild has been described as "notorious for its mix of gossip, inflammatory language, and sensationalism" and as having a huge influence on German politicians. Its nearest English-language stylistic and journalistic equivalent is often considered to be the British national newspaper The Sun, the second highest selling European tabloid newspaper, with which it shares a degree of rivalry.
Great source.
According to Der Spiegel, Bild is a newspaper that flies just under the nonsense threshold of American and British tabloids. For the German desperate, it's a daily dose of high-resolution soft porn.
According to The Guardian, for 28 years Bild had topless girls featuring on its first page; the paper published more than 5,000 topless pictures. -

Registered 14 years agoWell it's coming from a host of other reliable sources now tbh. Apparently the announcement is imminent.
Still wait and see.
The next question is....who does he displace at Bayern, and will they become available to us? -

Registered 15 years agoUrgh. I absolutely hate, hate, hate the way Bayern just continously hoover up the rest of their league's best players.
Gotze, Gomez, Mandzukic, Pizarro, Dante, Neuer, Gustavo and the likes of Klose in the past and Lewandowski in the future.
The timing (for BVB) is appalling too, right before their semi. -

But yeah, they are the worst at that, purely designed to keep them strong and to weaken any threat they have. The worst kind of monopoly. -

If Arsene leaves, Klopp would be ace. -
Looks like Lewandowski will end up at Bayern too.
