The reality is, he'll have time (from the fans). Sarri, despite winning Serie A, was a bit...crap. Particularly at the end of the season.|
I don't think the "start at smaller clubs" has ever worked for club legend players. Lesser known former players, sure. But a brief sojourn in the Championship seems to have done Frank fuck all good. Pep and Zidane are probably the template (yes I know they both had brief - but longer - tenures managing the reserves).
I always remember Glenn Hoddle (anecdotally) turning up at Swindon and taking training, wondering why his players couldn't ping 70 yard passes to feet

Ha, heard similar about Hoddle. Even at 40-odd, head and shoulders above everyone else technically.
I don't think there's a one size fits all with ex-players and management. Legends probably get an earlier shot but I don't think it always works out as planned.
Cadiz are beating Real 1-0. Could go joint top.

Juve struggling against Crotone too, and now a man down. Noice.
Just need Barca to lose too... 😀

Ajax struggling, 10-0 up after 74 minutes.
Wait - 11-0 after 76 minutes...
Madrid got spanked again. Glorious.
Why do the Juve players have a red mark under their eye?
Actually, all the players do.
