I've recently bought a DS Lite along with some hori screen protectors, but I never thought of getting a carry-case or skin. Do I really need one? I'll always keep it in a secure place but I suppose its better to be safe than sorry. Can anyone recommend a case? I got a skin for my old SP and it was quite frankly rubbish, so I would like a little advice before I get anything this time. Oh and its black, so a fitting colour scheme would be appreciated. I was interested in this. But I can't find a black version anywhere. Edited by JSD124 at 16:23:11 30-07-2006 |
Would anyone recommend a DS Lite case?

Registered 15 years agoI bought that from Game for £10 and sadly only in white... Its fine though and keeps the DS safe. Just wish I had bought a white DS now as my black one is forever covered in finger prints. -

Registered 20 years agoThe PSP Slipcase works perfectly for the DS lite, much better than it does for the PSP as the DS is a clamshell and the PSP has an exposed screen. -

Registered 16 years agoyes, Dune is ok, I have bought from them before, but they don't have all the selections sometimes, but if you can find what you need and like, it's easier than import. -

Registered 18 years agoI highly recommend the Venom Flip and Play cases. I have one for the DSi and it's excellent. Only costs about £7 as well. Keeps the DS nice and safe and you don't need to remove it from the case to play it. -

Registered 14 years agoAnyone know of a really well fitting rubber skin for the DS?
I was going to go for this one but the review about it coming loose has put me off.
I'd be interested in your suggestions for other types of "don't increase the bulk on the DS" cases. -

Registered 15 years agoI don't see the point of a case for a DS. They don't need one and you just add to the bulk.
I've had my two for ages and both screens are mint bar touch screen wear. The clam case has done its job and you get a road worn ds which looks ace frankly. -

My ruck sack has a lovely little dediacted compartment that I only keep my DS or psp in, depending on the mood.
