I'm not sure it's available as a trade paperback, but Batman no.s #620-625: Broken City by Azzarello and Risso from 100 Bullets fame could quite possibly be some of the finest stuff (i.e. not just comics but literature as a whole) I've ever read. Love the atmosphere, the atmosphere in the art-work feels as though it's written. Genius.
Bring 'em back is what I say. And if you take into consideration the Batman #608-#619 was HUSH, then what a fantastic 18 months for comics it was.
Brilliant.
You'd really like 100 Bullets I think. Not a superhero in sight. -

Huh? I've been a HUGE fan of Frank Quitely ever since his work on 2000AD's Shimura; how can you not like it? I buy books solely for his work; it's even led me over to the dark side (Marvel) now and again.

Oh well, diff'rent strokes... -
It's just a bit weird for Superman I think, I know what he's saying. It does match the frankly NUTS story lines though. -

I've got 'loads' of collecting to do. Click on a picture and you get the stroyline and all the original comics that make up the collection. Fantastic stuff. -

Caught on to him years ago when he was doing The Greens in Electric Soup, then saw the Shimura stuff and a couple of indie things he did, all fantastic but not a style i think is any good whatsoever in a superhero comic strip. Overworked and flat are not good styles for superhero work.

He is better than that guy that traces photos on the ultimates though

But then again, EBay is your best best, some ridiculously cheap prices for comics on there. -

Frank Quitelys artwork is a pile of poo, well it was when he did Shimura
My Brother and his friend Started that off and mister Quitely killed Shimura with his scratchy clumsy artwork. -

Also Mega City Comics and Forbidden planet both have decent online services. Neither are "cheap" as such. -

The Graphic Novel or the individual comics? Are they just great? The style, the feel etc. Very adultly written too. Especially when the rich party guest makes a fool of the Prof in Ep1. Very subtly done I thought.
I like Wayne's quiff too!
Oh yes, that's right. What do 'you' think of it?
-
Heh
Got the graphic novel, I'm not too anal about past issues really, depends on what it is, but for this I was quite happy to get it all in one nice colleciton. Liking it, even if it is a bit "faux-Miller", but maybe that's just me trying to pick holes. Yeah, pretty good. Picked up Issue 1 of Mad Monk as well. -

Bidding on this!
I'll soon have 'everything' to do with the Knighfall Series. I bought the 4 original -

I need to rebuy Long Halloween I just realised. Lent it to someone that I'm not going to be able to get it back from
-
Sorted the Sword of Azreal link.
Just click again.
If you read here you'll see that this part of the series never made it to a Trade Paperback (I only need the Shadow of The Bat Comics) and there's a couple of comics listed here that also never made into the Pt.3 TPB. Those are all I need now.
That Batsquad.net site is really awesome.
