Is there something you want to say? I can't quite make it out. Don't tell me I'm getting under your skin a little verm. Annoying isn't it when someone acts like a prick most the time. Really annoying. Don't get upset though little man. I'm only playing around with you. -

I didn't know we resorted to playground insults these days. I thought you could do a little better. Oh well. You can have the last say after this, I suppose.

Anybody else noticed the increasing number of firefox hangs and crashs the past few months? It seems every update they release makes it more unstable (on my system anyway).
Any other decent browsers? I'm not that keen on Oprah or Internet Explorer.
could be time for a format...running perfect here... -

Registered 16 years agoBoth Opera and Firefox are fine on mine, could be something other than the browser.
Could try a complete uninstall (and deleting the folder and plugins) then reinstalling.
Can't think of any windows based browsers. Is netscape still going?.gif)

Registered 17 years agoWell, my Firefox most of the time refuses to even start.
Though I am pretty sure it's all those add-ins, because it used to work fine before I enabled them.
But then again, I really like Opera and it's features, and these add-inns are essential to give Firefox the same usability features as Opera has.
So it is a shame they don't work properlty, as I would be using Firefox if they did, Google compatibility and all that!!

Registered 17 years agoSo I'm going through processes to see how much memory Firefox is using (37mb, btw!) and I notice iTuneshelper.exe running at 4mb. Now just a second, I don't even have itunes running! Anyone care to enlighten me?
On the firefox stability issue, I've noticed that on my Mac at work it hates big animated flash elements (like the homepage promos on EG and Gametrailers) and stutters like a bastard, whereas at home on my PC it's fine. But then Macs hate flash full stop. -
I'm considering heading back to IE as FF has indeed become pish. Is IE still as useless as it used to be? -

Actually I would prolly rate IE7 over it and that is saying a lot as I think it sucks too.
Strangely Flock seems a little more stable than FF 1.5.0.6, weird. -
I used Opera for about 3 months a year ago and it eventually became so unstable I had to go back to FF. Will give it another go. -

It was then... That was about version 6 I'm guessing, it's at version 9.01 now and is steady as a rock.

I like it. We'll see how long it lasts this time!
The only complaint is the sensetivity of the mousewheel. It's deadly quick now :/
