Let's add another to that list because Silva has been flagged by USADA. Gastelum fight is of course, off.

    It's all bad news ;_;

pushing the referee and slapping a member of the comission.. He's not very fond of defending his belt anyway, so maybe its a good thing for LW if the UFC has the balls to suspended him for a while https://www.mmanytt.com/latest-news/video-watch-conor-mcgregor-lose-control-start-referee-marc-goddard-bellator-187/

Er... OK. I suppose it was a choke rather than a TKO/KO loss, thus he’s not sidelined.

But George is due to the cut.

It's an odd sport at times

Well, a cut can easily be re-opened for six weeks or so and they’re worrying about concussions for KO/TKO’s. A blood/oxygen choke is very quick to recover from.

Dangerous fight for him as well, they must be paying him well.

I really didn't see that coming at all. Not even sure what to think about that fight. Gastelum's very sharp on the feet. I definitely feel he's an undersized Middleweight, but that hurts him more against grapplers, which MW is full of, but Bisping just isn't one of them.
It's just crazy how 4 weeks removed from being choked unconscious Bisping will be fighting again. And not against a slouch, Gastelum's game.

I like the Aldo/Max fight too, though Max kind of has to shift his entire camp around and doesn't have a whole lot of time to do it. Pettis/Poirier was a good fight from last night.

Wicked card last night. Throwback stuff. Any card with Dustin, Lauzon, and Brown is bound to be a banger. But what was with the guy wearing a diaper that fought Arlovski? Never seen him before. Odd lookin’.

I only saw a picture briefly- it looked like he tucked the legs of a pair of the tight shorts up?

He’s no Dennis Hallman though, there is that.

I want to know why he was ranked above Andrei before the fight.

He looks like the result of a The Fly inspired accident involving Diego Sanchez and Roy Nelson.

Arlovski was on a 5 fight losing streak. I thought it was more a surprise he was actually still ranked. Albini's had 1 or 2 wins in the UFC, and it doesn't take much to crack the HW top 15.

That elbow that knocked out Sanchez was so thunderous, it blew out the signal!!

Kinda funny until you realise that a shot that hard to the head would probably kill most normal people

I really like Dustin Poirier and think he's earned his shot at the big time. That's a hell of a division to try and reign over though. Absolute killers from top to bottom.

What actually happened to Pettis? I assume he broke a rib or something but I've seen no mention of it anywhere, It seems to have just been glossed over as Poirier won, Pettis lost, which is a bit weird.

A couple of reports I've read seem sceptical that Pettis was actually injured.

Watching the fight, it was weird, but I guess if you're stuck in a body triangle and try and twist out of it you could injure a rib. Similarly if you're bleeding profusely, unable to go for submissions because of the slipperiness and still got two rounds to go, you could just call it quits.

Looks like a popped rib. I've had something similar happen while doing jiu-jitsu. It suuuuucks.
