If he really wants to make some money he should fight in a boxing match with Mayweather. Could you imagine that if it happened?

Think he could make it to about the 10th round

Yeah most likely. I reckon he has the chance to land some clean uppercuts in the early rounds, too.

They both need each other. What's his alternative? He's not going to win any boxing matches against anyone worth a crap and he knows that. If he takes another fight he will lose and it will be his last boxing match because nobody wants to see anyone go past 0-2.

Creating his own promotion might be an idea but it will take years for him to ever see any real money from it, because who else but him is going to be on the roster? Anyone good is with UFC or Bellator already. Nobody's going to pay to see a load of bums fighting. He either fights in the UFC or doesn't fight full stop imo.

Doo Ho Choi vs Jeremy Stephens is set for January 14th. Quite like that fight, nice to see Choi back and it's against another tough test.

218 this weekend too, looking forward to it.

They’re supposed to all be mates as they boxed at same gym so I doubt it will come to much.
Reports saying the Kinahan cartel are looking for revenge for the incident

I love your reports Baihu. I like to imagine you’re shuffling papers and wearing these as you deliver them.

Ha nah it was just in a few articles online.

But seems to have started from the sun so probably a load of BS.

Or UFC is going to a different level of circus and the WWE style handicap match is happening...

The main card Saturday night is the first one where everyone has been ranked in the top 6 in their divisions. Pretty great looking card.

Savage. He was stiff for about a minute.

Francis looks good. I still think Stipe beats him though.

Holloway looks the real deal isn't his only loss to McGregor.
Lost 3 but Conor was the last about 11 fights ago

I thought Stipe would be the one to break the long standing HW defense record. And he might have had he fought instead of trying to get a better deal (which I support by the way). I'm not so sure about him vs Ngannou. He's just a fucking monster.

Amazing performances from Holloway and Alvarez too. Excellent card all told.

I really enjoyed the Gaethje/Alvarez fight, but damn that must have taken a few years off them both.

The leg kicks Alvarez took started to make me feel funny, and the volume of jabs Gaethje absorbed was sickening. I hope they both have a decent layoff.

Hats off to Overeem for not dying from that uppercut and forearm smash.

Gaethje/Alvarez was so good. Honestly thought that Gaethje would break Alvarez with his mental forward pressure.

If I had an MMA time-machine I would love to see Gaethje vs Chris Leben :D

I think Ngannou is the most dangerous fight for Stipe after that performance.
    Him or DC.

Everybody says Ngannou has no grappling credentials, but taking down a dude who uppercuts like that is no fun. I'd be surprised if Ngannou isn't the new HW champion early next year.

GSP now talking about he doesn't see himself returning at 185 and wants to fight at 170. What a mess.

    @BigOrkWaaagh

Wasn't he contracted to fight again at 185?

@Addy_B That's what he said. Well actually if memory serves all he said was he has to fight Robert Whittaker, and he once fought at 170 so... ;)

Ultimately what can the UFC do? He says he doesn't want to fight, they can't put a gun to his head and he's proven he can live without them. Anyway GSP Woodley would sell tickets, and lord knows Woodley needs to start selling tickets.
