Everyone on the hype train. I'd see Jones winning, he'd actually be focused for the first time since DC.

That's what makes it potentially so good. Jones has the skill set to beat him but just one punch gets through and Ngannou destroys him.

I think Jones' best days are behind him/everyone else has caught up, which is probably half the reason he left light heavyweight, figuring he can out-skill the heavies.

I'm definitely intrigued to see how he does. All the back and forth between Dana and Jones is surely just negotiating tactics and PR. Dana doesn't want to pay more than he has to, whereas Jones has been angling for more than he gets for years. I'm sure the fight will happen.

    .
This might be true but I feel it's more he wasn't taking anyone seriously enough and never got out of mid gears in each win after DC.

The thing with Jones is he has a truly amazing skill set, but he has gone from finishing fools left and right on his way up to going to a decision against the likes of OSP and Anthony Smith. I can't quite put my finger on what happened between then and now but it feels like it might be significant.

Now if Jones can't finish Anthony Smith, and is scraping decisions against Santos and Reyes, I don't know what hope he has of knocking out literally any top 10 heavyweight. He has the skillet to take them to a decision, but going to have to dodge Francis and pals' nuclear bombs for 25 minutes with his new hulk frame. He might just be able to do it, and if he can then it's an amazing feat, but he for sure is going to have the deck stacked a lot more heavily against him than he did at light heavy. At least he'll still have those fingers.

The amount of steroids he'll have taken to get to heavyweight I imagine he'll uppercut Ngannou's head off and then his heart will explode.

I am fully expecting some kind of shenanigans in the wake of his next fight whatever the result.

So a dude lost a finger during his fight and just... didn't notice until he went back to his corner in between rounds.

Big paydays are less likely than ever now that Endeavour own 100% of the company.

Ngannou has apparently declined a fight with Lewis in June. So I guess the UFC are not waiting around for Jones to give them a realistic price, but maybe Ngannou wants that fight?

    Cejudo claiming he's fighting Mayweather.

    Welcome.

Conor seems to have gone back to dick head mode. Saying the fight is off because Poirier bought up the fact he hasn't donated the $500k like he said he would.

Next up.. Conor punches nun as she crosses the road.

Used to be a big McGregor fan but the act got old very quickly and he needs this 3rd fight more than Poirier.

    Spoilers! :)

Whittaker is so bloody amazing. Except for his weird fight against Israel where he was just throwing obvious bombs he has always been one of the best fighters in the UFC. Such a beautiful performance this morning.

    Jeremy Stephens wins by push.

Whittaker is great and probably hates himself for how he thought Israel.

Bobby was awesome. If that version turns up for Whittaker/Adesanya II, i cant see him losing.

    Great performance from Whitaker
That's 3 guys in a row who would've got a title shot if they beat him.
Just a top fighter, looked super sharp last night

I don't know if anyone else will care about this as much as me but just in case, I discovered I could stream last night's UFC from my Virgin TiVo box to my tablet. It's a lot of the reason I got the box in the first place and it's never been allowed due to rights restrictions. Hopefully it's not a blip.

I have a feeling Masvidal is going to catch him with a knockout.

The other 2 will defend their belts.

Excited for this card. Want to see Liang Na and surely Weili/Namajunas is going to be a banger. Interesting fights all the way through

Who knows right, could go either way but I think Masvidal is going to get owned. Mas knocked out Till, assaulted someone backstage then flying kneed Ben...outside of that it's a very average MMA career where everyone jumped on the media hype. Usman is a legit monster.

Oh, I know he's going to get battered really. But a can't knock the feeling he's going to catch him out.

Put a fiver on it anyway.

I hope Jorge gets battered. He's an annoying prick who's embarrassingly obsessed with maintaining some kind of street thug image. Grow up man, you're a successful sportsman now, you don't have to act like you in the hood all the time.
