Not homer directly; but the funniest scene in the SImpsons ever is the April Fools day one where Bart gets a can of beer and shoves it in a paint mixer machine for 10 minutes, thenm puts it in the fridge. Homer opens it, bart jumps round the corner shouting "April...!" and the scene shows the house from a mile away exploding in a coloumn of beer. Makes me laugh just thinking about it.

YES! that's been my favourite scene since 1994 or whenever.

It's Homer Simpson day on channel 4.

1400-1800, they're showing classic, earlier season episodes where Homer's the star.

I've got it to record, it's gonna be mega.

My favourite Homer episode is the one where he skips church on Sunday.

It's been snowing out, or just winter cold. The family go to church, he doesn't.

He cranks up the heating, puts the TV on. Football game, his team wins. He put a bet on, so scores some moolah. Has a bath/shower, all to himself no need to rush. He's got hot water. Radio on, his favourite song comes on. And that's just the start of the episode.

Oh God, that takes me back to when the Simpsons were super funny and not some forgettable third-rate cartoon

Thread has inspired me to restart my Simpsons Seasons 1-10 box set. No chance of any modern duffers creeping in that way.

The big question: cast and crew commentary, on or off?
