Play now no longer deliver to Europe if the price is in pounds sterling. You have change the prices to Euros which mean now a X360 game is 63.99 Euros which equal 485kr which is about 47-48. i.e. about 15kr (1.25) cheaper than they are in the shops. Before 39.99 Delivered was about 420kr which is a more considerable saving.

No more 420kr new games for me then. :(

Anyone else been affected by the currency change?

Yeah I obviously meant an X360 game. It's the same for everything though, no more cheap CD's, books etc. There's basically now no moer than a 1-2 price difference so I might as well buy the stuff here.

    Well, crap.

Yeah, it was quite a bit cheaper to order from play in pounds sterling than in Euros.

On the other hand, I'm surprised it took them this long to figure it out :)

It's strange though, if they did what Gameplay do, and add a charge of say, 3.50 for delivery to Europe, it'll still work out cheaper then the Euro price and it also means I'll go back to shopping with them.

I'm getting my games from Gameplay from now on. Shame about the CD's though, I saved about 5 per CD with Play.
