I thought the PS3 had an ever so slightly superior PSU and GPU?

The GPU in the PS3 is weak (gforce 7600 eq) so it needs the Cell to help with graphics rendering, thus having less power to do AI. While the GPU in the 360 is a beast (better than ATI 1900xt) that can not even be bought yet, so the 6 threads of the xenos CPU can run game code freely. just sayin

Just sayin'...a load of things that aren't true. I'd take the comment about the differences between the versions of Assassin's Creed with a large pinch of salt, you don't usually differentiate versions via such a fundamental and potentially game-breaking approach. Extra characters/levels maybe, different AI? Unlikely.

And yeah, all that stuff about the two consoles is pretty much twaddle.

    Whats not true?

I like the way she's revealed the secret about the storyline :-)
It's sort of based on the research that's sort of happening now, about the fact that your genes might be able to hold memory. And you could argue semantics and say it's instinct, but how does a baby bird know to eat a worm, as opposed to a cockroach, if its parents don't show it? And it's about this science company trying to, Matrix-style, go into people's brains and find out an ancestor who used to be an assassin, and sort of locate who that person is.

    Oh noes....

Ubisoft, take note: I just want to break necks and slit throats in an appealing medieval free-roaming setting.

Leave the cut-scene cod to Koj, please.

Everyone is excited about Bioshock or Mass Effect, but for me, this is the one game I'm really looking forward to in 2007.

Seriously man! I've only hopped onto the bandwagon this past couple of weeks - I'd initially passed it off as dull medieval nonsense (I hate medieval and fantasy stuff as a general rule), but upon closer inspection it appears to look fucking great. It's nice to have a new IP to be excited about isn't it?

Finally a shot without that blue tinge, it was starting to annoy me a little. Looking great.

The different towns will have different colours to quicly tell the player where he/she (oh, who am I kidding) is. It's a little trick they picked up from the CSI series.

I'm not pulling this out of my ass either. I read it in an intrview with Jade.

Ah, didn't know that. Wouldn't have been necessary to make a spelling mistake in the quote though.

    /whistles innocently

Traffic (the film) did that, too.

They have hired a bunch of people from movie industry to help Ubi create a "next gen" feeling. There were all sorts of talk about colours and le parkour and crowd ai &c

Could a mod remove the 'wtf' and change the category to general?

    Cheers.

The fact that its the main Sands of Time folks doing it fills me with enough confidence that its going to be rather good indeed. The crowd stuff was looking passable a year ago, so i'm willing to bet its come on some since then.

If its being developed on an xbox360 I don't hold out much hope for the PS3 version. (see recent port comparison)

I've renamed it (with all new apostrophe), but I can't recategorise in Safari for some reason.
