I dont want to agree with Mapster as it is annoying just seeing the "official" thread just get spammed, but he has a point.

When it is public like it is, you'll inevitably get people offering counterpoints to a complaint (which is good anyway as it means if only one person has a complaint but everyone else see's it as an overreaction it gives a right to reply). Just a shame people turn it into a regular conversation thread after a page or two, with in jokes and what not.

Be nice if people deleted their posts themselves though once their point had been made.

I like your idea, but lets suppose X reports Y for something, is a "WTF are you reporting him for that for?" thread going to be any more productive?
