From what i coudl tell, the guy who thought he could fly couldn't. Although i have to admit that i got bored half way throught the 2nd ep and turned it off. Someone tell me if it gets better and i may come back. Until then i have jericho, Smith and studio 60 to keep me going |

They don't appear to have origin stories in that sense. They aren't being gifted with super-powers in the narrative. The story seems to be that they are all discovering/developing their abilities and getting involved in some plot to blow up NY while being chased by a generic evil government/illuminati character. There also appear to be super-villains in the works. -

Nah, he's absorbing 'powers' from others by killing them(probably has something to do with eating their brains or some such bollocks). I doubt it's just someone with both super strength AND ice powers. Plus, there are already some Rising Stars 'parallels' in there, no reason this wouldn't be another -

Registered 17 years agoIt could go anywhere, partly because they haven't shown anything that joins the dots and partly because these sorts of things generally feel free to indulge in plot-twisting including but not limited to the untrustworthy viewpoint (e.g. something turns out to be a dream or an hallucination). One of the characters has already jumped around in time and I doubt the story will be taking a deterministic perspective, so that bit won't actually happen.
Is Sylar responsible for the murders? We don't know.
Is Sylar the guy in glasses? We don't know.
Right now, I'd bet that neither of those things is true. -

Registered 20 years agoGood idea! That would explain why he only eats select brains. As opposed to all his victims. Bit graphic though init. I hope they don't plan on showing him feasting on them! o_o
IF this is true, I wonder how long he gets to keep his newly aquired abiities, also it raises the question. How does he track down his victims? Access to the professors technology? Or some kind of skill like a predator sniffing out it's prey? -

Pretty good episode and as always was intriguing
I like the way Hiro's path is really unfolding now and that he can follow the comic is cool.
Mohinder too..its becoming like da vinci code adventure
And an appearance of sylar =O...but you dont see him but you can experience a little of his wizard like powers
And where did the Niki and Mikah go to after being stopped?
Well im trying not to spoil anything...still cant wait till next episode
