Bad news (maybe) to start the thread I'm afraid. According to this Danish article TVG (Totally Video Games) say the OXM have said that Alan Wake has been put back to 2008. Which if true, is sad. They do however give us some screenshots to soften the blow. Edited by morriss at 22:53:16 05-12-2006 |

Registered 17 years agoYeah, I was reading that a few days back. Gutted.
Still - if it means a better game when it arrives then I don't mind the wait so much. -

In the end it was a really good game, so we might look forward to Alan Wake. -

Registered 20 years agoAhhhh...I see. Put a 360 thread in the 'General Gaming' category so I still have to see it (even with my little filters).
You're a clever one, young Morriss. ;P -

Er... well you see...
I was just representing you and your brilliant observations during your absence. You can't be on-line all the time, right? -

Registered 17 years agoThis is the official thread right? I cant find another one, so any way bad news is that its Vista only.
Did I miss something or was this always touted as a Vista only? -

Registered 17 years agoIt has always been vista only the moment ms became publisher. They only release games on the 360 or GfW (vista). So this is only available on GfW and the 360 as well. -

I don't have Vista either, Company of Heroes was one of the first games in the Games for Windows packaging. Its basically a standard white bar along the top of the case in an attempt to make all PC games look the same on the shelf. To cut down on confusion. At least that was the line anyway. -

Games for Windows hasn't got anything to do with Vista.
But Alan Wake has been "Vista only" for ages, yes. -

Registered 17 years agoOk so far we have Alan wake and DRAGON AGE (Yes its important enough to be written in capitals) as the main reasons to go Vista.
Any other good game thats not coming to poor old XP? What about Bioshock? Crysis can run in DX 9 so I guess its pretty much confirmed as XP too. -
Crysis and Bioshock will work on XP.
I haven't heard that Dragon Age will be Vista only, are you sure? I have Alan Wake down as the only worthwhile Vista-exclusive game at the moment.
