    Yeah, I think I do too, though Midna looks a bit out of place and Epona might as well not be there :p

    @Ror
    No such luck for me... Still an hour left before I give up on the cockwomble in a Corsa delivering it...

    @Graxlar Admittedly, I've only ever played a couple of hours of Majora, but it always struck me as dark in a very odd sense, rather than fairytale-like, like TP. I'm probably not explaining that very well :\

    I do need to get around to Majora, but the timed nature of it has always put me off - I hate feeling rushed in games. I bought the 3DS remake and again only managed an hour or so.
    There's no need to rush, you have unlimited time essentially.

    It's probably more in my head than the game, to be honest - I hate feeling like I'm being rushed, as I like to explore in games. Although, don't you have to restart a dungeon if you don't finish it in time? Or is it just that you have to enter it from the beginning again..?

    I'll get around to it eventually.

    @Ror
    It did! Now I'm feeling bad about the cockwomble comments as well :(

    Ah, fuck 'em, they're all cockwombles.

    @Ror are you planning on opening the amiibo? I was planning on tearing into it but now I look at it and it is so awesome I don't want to mess it up
  • Deleted user 4 March 2016 18:03:13
    @Ror you have to start dungeons from the beginning I believe but shortcuts remain open

    Delivered when I popped out for bread; I cheekily had someone there to sign for me.

    I'm sure Logistics were waiting for me to leave!

    The box is nicely done, I'll check it out a bit later as....I have company on the way! I'm very happy this is here, it'll sit very nicely with the Cube and Wii versions I never finished....

    ...I only finished Wind Waker last year and I've had the Cube version knocking around since day 1!

    Eesh.

    @Graxlar Ah, cheers. I thought I'd heard something about restarting dungeons, but wasn't sure.

    I probably will open it at some point, but I haven't yet. It's sitting on my shelf next to my unopened Zero Suit Samus amiibo that I never got around to opening :p

    Nemesis, with that avatar I'd have thought you'd have played every Zelda game going multiple times!

    Mine arrived today. Straight to the loft it goes. One day I will play you all, my little pretties. One day!
  • Deleted user 4 March 2016 19:11:22
    @markytonline83 in order I hope!
  • Deleted user 4 March 2016 21:31:27
    First time I picked up the pro controller in ages and it feels flimsy as hell compared to the xbox elite
  • Deleted user 4 March 2016 22:11:32
    So your £120 controller feels superior?... Please do keep us updated on this unforeseen twist!

    @ror I'm getting there! The Cube was my first Nintendo home console so I've been playing catchup on some stuff and not having the time for others. I completely adored TWW as it was my first Zelda game, but I got distracted and never went back. It still took me until last year to finally knuckle down and complete the Wii HD versions and I'm glad I did. Triforce pieces can do one, I'm so glad I didn't have to do it on GC.

    @Nemesis I never played Wind Waker on the Cube, so my first time playing it was on the Wii U. It just wasn't what I wanted from a Zelda game at the time - I wanted the demo they showed at Spaceworld 2000. At least I had the option to fix my mistake with the HD version :D

    3h30 in first dungeon done :) was only going on for an hour
  • Deleted user 5 March 2016 16:14:47
    Got a collectors copy at Smyths, pretty much an impulse buy as I thought £41.99 was reasonable from a shop. First time I have owned an amiibo, I'm normally against plastic tat but it's a pretty neat item. First time I've seen an audio CD in ages :)

    Anyway, for various boring reasons, this is pretty much the only Zelda I haven't played post LTTP. Looking forward to it.

    Hungover so played for about and hour and a half then had a snooze. Wii U turned itself off after an hour, hadn't saved so lost everything.

    Who's fucking idea was it to include that as a 'feature' for the console? Utter shite.

    Just as well the game is superb so it isn't going to stop me going back to it.

    What size is the digital version?
  • Deleted user 5 March 2016 16:30:43
    Managed three quarters of the second dungeon this morning. It is a really fun game but the controls seem slightly off
  • Deleted user 5 March 2016 17:45:33
    Off? How so? Input lag?

    I remember Toon Link being very divisive at the time; however I always liked the style.

    Loving the Midna/Wolf Amiibo, time to fire up the Wii U and see how TTP looks in HD.

    Yeah, for me it was just that it was so far away from what I was expecting. It's held up so well, though.

    I really need to open that amiibo. Anyone going to do that bonus challenge dungeon? I watched a review last night and the game tells you to come back when you're stronger if you do it too early...
