Absolutely - been nine and a half years since release I think? I remember certain bits (like the layout of Kakariko Village) but already in the first eight hours so much I cannot remember for the life of me.
My memory is gone to shit though, feels like a new game. -

Registered 15 years agoStarted this last night, made it as far as the first temple.
Is it me or is the game's opening just a bit... boring? Glad to have a temple to tackle now. -
it was worse when you spent 30 mins trying to work out how to fish using the wiimote as you skipped the tutorial on it -

Registered 15 years agoI'm not sure I worked out how to fish anyway, Link always cast the line about a mile past the fish but eventually it worked. -

Registered 15 years agoI'm really struggling to get into this. I've done the first dungeon and have Epona back but it's not grabbing me.
Also fucking hell Epona controls like shite. -

Registered 6 years agoIt does get better, I gave up in the Goron Mines last time but this time I am well into it. Just takes a bit of time to get going, and this time lovely WiiU ganepad controls. -

However it is a great game - I'm only playing it when I have a good hour and a half to two hours of playtime so yesterday only just through the second dungeon (Goron Mines) and it really is huge amounts of fun. Stick with it!
Very unpopular opinion but it's my second favourite Zelda after Wind Waker so take from that what you will

This game feels like really hard work. I just got up to Zora's Domain. The stuff between dungeons feels way too expansive, it seems to be go there, go there now, now go here...
I don't feel like exploring this world. I will give it bit longer but it's disappointing, certainly nowhere near as good as any other Zelda. -
Just finished the Goron Mines. While it does seem to delight in procrastinating I'm having a lot of fun with this.
Definite shades of Ocarina and while the conservatism probably was disappointing at the time taken into isolation it's still a fantastic game so far.
There's something about Zelda games that really titillate my pleasure receptors. In particular the dungeons.
