The pundits got talking the other day about how there's a new breed of young uns coming through, perhaps inspired by Ronnie, that can play almost as well wrong handed. I think it was McManus who said he watched someone he knew just knock out a sinister 130 odd break in practice. The fat Scouse one (half)joked that he couldn't even manage that right handed now. It was all I could do to exhale "cuuuuuuuunt" as I remembered the last time I played I was chuffed just to pot more than five in a fucking row. |

Oh yeah, he stinks the place up. He noshes Higgins every time too.
Fuck John Higgins and his comeback bullshit. -

I know. Fucking awful. I dislike Trump a great deal also but not as much as the cheat. Let's hope he does him.

Registered 18 years agoCracking final in the end, good to see Trump close it out quickly, not sure Higgins even deserved to be there.
"Greatest final of all time"? Centuries is one thing, but sounds like Hazel scraping to excuse the hours of Dad's Army repeats to follow... -

Registered 12 years agoI couldn't consider any world final that finishes at 7.30pm to be anywhere near being the greatest. -
Certainly one of the greatest performances by an individual player but the competition is what makes great snooker finals. This was a very tame final in some ways.
Saying that, Trump was phenomenal. So effortless and in control. I did very much enjoy it, more so than many finals where the semis were the better matches. -
I think the forum could do with some lighter news; it's a semi final today.
Mark Allen v Trump, 7pm, ITV4
Both have played good this week but Trump has been stronger I think. Anyway, whoever wins faces Neil Robertson in the final tomorrow (he beat Ronnie yesterday).

Registered 17 years agoSo lads who is winning this. I'm going for Mr "charisma" himself The Jester from Leicester. On that note some of the nick names are truly awful. I know we had them back in "my" day but not everyone had or needed one. They also have the walk on music as well now FFS...it is not Darts, Bazza.
Anyway I have no love for any of the last 4. I would usually go with Ronnie. but I really find him tiring, I know he has issues but don't we all. He is up his own arse a lot of the time and is distrustful to the tour. It is easy Ron, you don't like it then fuck off mate, You are the biggest draw but snooker will get over you.
I think I'm going to say McGill.
On a side note what is Trump trying to do with his barnet, the game is up mate and was a few years ago, either get a syrup or do a Jimmy,Rooney. Don't do a Pete Ebdon, god, do you remember that ponytail! -

Haven't watched any of the snooker this year, so I'm going to have to go with Ronnie. -
The answer is always Ronnie. Even is he has turned into boring vegan fitness cunt. Failing that, then Selby. -
I'm hoping for a Ronnie and Wilson final. McGill I'd alright but he's a bit too defensive to make it a good spectacle, and Selby is a great player just a bit of a personality vacuum.
I know Ronnie comes across as a bit of an arse but there's no better snooker player to watch when he's on form. -

It's a travesty that there isn't a crowd in there for this.
