Registered 18 years agoSweet! I presume the HSDPA performance will be similar to my Hermes which is most impressive. -

Registered 19 years agoI'm curious to see what people actually think of HSDPA cos I helped (in some miniscule way) to design it.
Also, I'm very curious to see how long the battery lasts when it's hammering a download

Registered 18 years agoI use my Vario II (aka Hermes) a lot for general browing, very nippy and seemingly limited only by the speed of the website itself - the only page slightly slow to refresh is the EG forum. I don't download big files very often, the biggest being email attachment's less than a meg - they dl very swiftly. On an average day I'll make about 20 minutes worth of calls, 10 emails, cumulatively probably about 30 minutes of web browsing, and about 40-50 minutes of video on the commute. At days end my battery is usually at about 40-50% and I charge it every night.
Far and away the best gadget I've ever bought.

What is the difference between P3600 and P3600 Pro?
Can you tell us your ROM version numbers?
Does it have GPS (or even... radio) activated?
