Sorry, didn't mean to imply anything.
It's just that the Japanese fonts aren't installed by default on Windows, and I wanted to make sure that everyone enjoys this excellent little game properly :-)

There seems to be only three controls; left, right and suicide which all lead to the same quite uninspiring fate.

edit: I managed to find the shoot control but it again just leads to death.

Is the point of this game just to die?

Christ even once you work out how to jump (Z) and shoot (X) it insta-kills you at every opportunity.

I crashed the game by going to the top of the chain and farting... What do those moves do?

The spikes are difficult, but it's obvious where the triggers are. You know, to make it move down/up.

I think the way to kill the pig could be to bounce your bullets off the sign to the far left somehow. Or climb the chain and jump over him.

What do you do if you go right and beat the wolf guy? There's just a big hole I can't get over...

I tried getting past the pig by falling from the chain, but it doesn't allow you to fall to the side until you hit that room, so you don't make it.

Anyone made it past Guile?

I don't know what pigs you're talking about though. Have you made it to the screen left of the spikes then? I can't get under the second set quick enough.
