    Yeah, Smith was top of my list, but I don't think he wants to leave Brentford yet.

    Wilder has had a couple of good seasons but I'd be interested to see what he does this year.
    I really rate Wilder and he doesn't seem to be that happy at Utd because of their lack of investment. Well, I had to add one more hehe.

    Lampard's press conference was good. Sounded passionate, modest and ambitious. Actually looking forward to seeing what he can do.

    He's certainly the most handsome manager in the league

    What are Leeds doing? Surely you give the manager this season to try and do things. He's only been there 4 months!

    Zom must be tearing his hair out.

    @Jono62

    He was a terrible appointment so for once Iím not complaining. Better to do it now and give someone new the summer to work on the squad.

    Surely it's too much of a risk to go for someone like Lampard? I'm no fan or either Warnock or McCarthy but there are plenty more managers that could get you promoted without sacrificing style.
    Give me.... three

    @Zomoniac
    Quite timely as he looks like an obvious candidate to come to Valley Parade, if he doesn't go back to Barnsley.

    We've made some positive changes to the squad, few wasters are out and we've signed some Nigerian lad that's already in their national squad and Afobe from Wolves.

    It's quite bizarre seeing fans of 'big clubs' like Leeds and Sheffield United moaning at us spending 18m on 2 players in 1 week. We've just come out of a period of not batting an eyelid over spending 18m on one turgid shit! It's fucking peanuts!

    @Zomoniac for you and me both: https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/44518430

    You get an ex International manager, we get our under 18s coach. Great.

    Joe Allen's just signed a 4 year deal. From all the noises coming out of the club lately, they're deadly fucking serious about getting back up. It's not like the hierarchy to come out and make such bold statements, there's usually an apathetic attitude towards everything which is part of the reason we went down in the first place.

    Baptism of fire for us. Away to Leeds. With any luck they'll sack Beilsa by half time.

    Christ, we have to go to Stoke in December, I'm not sure all our foreign show ponies will be able to Do It if it's wet

    "Frank Lampard's Derby" is already doing good numbers in the media. Nick, have you got any gold iPods ready for his first game?

    Yeah I've never seen anyone give as much of shit about our fixtures. Been on the front page of BBC sport a couple of times since Saint Fwank arrived.

    It was the same when Roy Keane was our manager. Fucking media clown for the circus. I do not miss the days of having a Hollywood manager

    I'm just delighted to be in that golden period of hope that he will be a great manager before he gets the nail at Christmas.

    Its also really odd to have a manager with such little pedigree that you don't know how he is going to set up. The sexy mysteries are all left to be unraveled.

    I can almost guarantee he's going to spend a fair amount of time on the training ground wondering why Keogh can't ping a 40 yard pass to feet
