Apparently it's going to Henry as manager with John Terry as assistant.

I am a bit suspicious of this Henry thing, it feels like they had some rumour in the summer and everything we are hearing now stem from that.

@Mr_Sleep Sounds like you are right. The bookies know fuck all.

Indeed. Seems like they are just throwing names around. The odds seem to be changing constantly and I would be fairly sure it won't be anyone on their radar. Allardyce is being mooted but I highly doubt that is realistic.

/cue Allardyce being installed as manager.

Shame as I was genuinely excited at the prospect of Henry, just as he's not part of the establishment of British revolving door managers.

Nah, we didn't do Harry. We did McLeish which is enough to put anyone off football.

McLeish was shite but it has only got worse since him. Houllier was the one but we got him too late and with a dodgy heart. It has been crap since him.

Having Jesus as your DoF feels like you're cheating a bit

A good, solid appointment. John Terry as ass man makes sense. Hopefully this is the start of a turnaround.

@Vortex808 Not the best role to go into for your first management role with such high expectations.

Ah shit bags. I have a lot of love for Doug with him being in charge when I started supporting Villa.

Definitely. High chance he'd be out the door tout suite if it didn't improve there asafp.

Soooooo.....QPR were one of the 3 teams I looked at with a reasonable chance we could get points from this season.

Happy with defeating sky sports Leeds today. Rode our luck a bit at the end though.

We are a fucking shambles. Nsiala is apparently playing for a work permit decision, frankly as far as that goes I'm hoping Brexit comes early

Good start for Dean Smith at Villa.

Frank Lampard's Derby have a difficult game.
