So Brentford have never beaten stoke away... I guess if we want to be in the premier league we will need go prove we can handle a gray day in stoke

Registered 7 years agoWere the most Jekyle and Hyde in the league, be surprised if you don't come away with anything less than 3 points. We've turned up against the teams as bad as us but folded against more organised teams.
Only blessing for us is that Butland has been dropped through injury. He's been an absolute calamity since his England injury.

In fairness we have just won 9 games on the bounce... we should also have had a penalty before that goal but yeah Brentford just choke every single time.

Registered 17 years agoIt’s been a crazy run, I never saw you dropping points, but the first game where’s it’s been in your hands and it looks like the panic’s kicked in a bit. -

Registered 7 years agoThis is... unexpected. Sorry Brentford, not only do we have a piss poor season we have to make sure others are equally miserable. -

Meh, we didn’t deserve anything today. I imagine this is us setting ourselves up for relegation next season.

Registered 17 years agoGoing to be an exciting night on Wednesday. Three teams can finish 2nd, three up for the last two playoff spots and five teams can go down, plus potentially Sheff Wed. Not often there’s still this much left to play for on the last day. -

Registered 9 years agoIncredible, West Brom, Brentford and Fulham almost desperate not to go up. Commiserations to West Brom for the promotion you seemed to be avoiding!
Forest though, wow. Impotent. -

Registered 15 years agoI am minus a TV today, joys of being a Forest supporter.
Jesus wept, I've loved this team more than any other in the past 10 years and they absolutely bottled it. It's been a pattern of the season, conceding late, late goals (not that last nights 96thMinute OG would have mattered).
I think the nail in the coffin was the late, late goal against Derby - really impacted the players and could just see us 'Doing a Forest' again.
Desperate need of a sports phycologist, just to pick themselves up for next season.
Oh well, hope Brentford go up and now to forget about football for a bit. Probably only false hope in the playoffs anyway, but what a waste of a full season's work. -

Registered 17 years agoI'm hoping for Brentford or Swansea. I have no axe to grind with Fulham, but there's always a bit of schadenfreude to be had when an ex-player gets given a management job he's not up to because "he knows the club" and then watching a side that by any measure should've won this league by a huge distance limping out.
But in all likelihood Cardiff will shithouse their way to victory. Can't stand them but have to admire their resilience. -

I can imagine - I bet the whole of Derby gave a roar (and fair play).

@Dougs Yes - It had to happen this way, otherwise where would be the fun in following a team that gives glimmers of hope and then burns the whole house down.
