Klaxons - Atlantis to Interzone for phone calls
Probot - Red War for text messages.

I'm debating whether to put Less Talk More Rokk's intro on though.

That's not Lilly Allen singing, is it? I'm pretty sure it's not.

I have different ones for different people, but the main one that rings is from Zelda - that bubbly forest song from Ocarina of Time.

    Megadeth - Wake Up Dead.

It always draws a few looks :)

And for my text message, I have the OIIIII! bit from the start of Dizzee Rascal - Fix Up Look Sharp.

Still using this. It's awesome. From the "Tick, tick, tick , tick, tick , tick yeeeeeeah" opening to the awesome break in, to the EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEVOLUTION chorus.

I've missed too many calls just rocking out with Lemmy.

I've been trying to find a decent copy of the theme from "Gods" on the Amiga with no joy :(

Currently I have some random theme from my phone for most people, and "Perfect (Exceeder)" for the missus because the line "Let me hear you scream if you want some more" makes me chuckle and think of her :)

    Message tone: Crackdown Agility Orb
Ringtone: Ragtime Revolutionaries - Chicks Dig Giant Robots (theme to Megas XLR)
Private tone for wife: Anniversary by Voltaire (comic artist/musician)
    Theme: Matrix
Ringtune (replacing boring dialling tune): Klaxons - Gravity's Rainbow

    Geek and proud.

It's beyond me why people feel the need to put their favorite track as a ring tone. Why do you want to hear the first ten seconds of it fifteen times a day in crap quality? Or is it just so everyone can admire your taste in music? NO ONE CARES.

I can see what you mean but it makes me smile even if it is only a few seconds of the song.
    e.g.

"Lu lu lu, i've got some apples"
    / giggles
    / checks who is calling
    / answers phone

I have no objection to people having a song they like as their ringtone, it helps prevent that issue with many people having the same one - but what really fucking hacks me off is people who play the music out loud instead of using their headphones.

I actually had some girl tell me that it was "her civil liberties" to blare shit rap music to all and sundry. It was only because WarKitty stopped me that her phone didn't have an intimate meeting with tarmac.

finally got my first phone that allows me to import mp3s. Currently have the "rave" tune from Killer7 as my ringtone.

My text message alert is myself shouting "text message" into the phone. Rather embarrassing, but I was trying out the new phone's voice recorder and my girlfriend finds it amusing.

I used to feel all superior as I just have a ring ring which I thought was adequate. Having been out on numerous occasions and heard it and then seen about 5 people reaching for their phones I fear I must change now.

I'll have to spen hours and hours finding a decent yet unembaressing soundbite/riff. Oh the hardship :)
