I'll try not to spoilerise here but after the first Boss you go through a couple of doors and theres one of those blue signpost rocks and it says press - and 1 to do something but it's not doing anything? Am I being rubbish? What do you do? |

On this webpage click the 'previous 30' button below, then read that page. .gif)
(basically it's a 3D trick where the instructions are split onto different sides of the sign, then all you need to do is find the blue pillar) -

Very good. Just as long as you like adventure-puzzle-platformers with plenty of reading, allbeit with a script that's again a cut above the rest.
So how is this then?

I do like those games, my only concern is with Halo around the corner I don't feel I will give it the time it deserves. Maybe put it on the x-mas list. -

Ah cheers I got it now, that's a little random nut never mind. -

I find these games are best played with time I have to say, you need to be able to sit and take pleasure in reading the conversations without the thought of the next level in your head (SPM or Halo for that matter). Definitely worth a buy though.

This has got one of those boxes that screams "PLAY ME!". I keep on spotting it out of the corner of my eye and want to stick it on. -
I got stars with mine, strange? -

No Stars with this, what's that all about?
I have stars in my case. -

Registered 16 years agoFinished it off tonight though there's still the whole collect recipes and cards if I wanted to, great game, I could play loads more levels of just running through getting to the end.
Still the game has great style, game play and although cheesy a great storyline with interesting twists. I won't spoil any of the surprises though.
9/10. -

I bought mine in Switzerland, I wonder if Emil had the same problem....
They dropped the whole stars thing in Austria in 2007. Beginning with the cube all Nintendo published titles came with starts, even the Wii console and Zelda: Twilight Princess came with stars (both published 2006). Every game published in 2007 comes without stars now - I wouldn't be surprised if they dropped star support in Switzerland as well. -

Eurogamer have only given the game a 6/10; the review popped up on the front page and then mysteriously disappeared. Perhaps I need to view the review in 3D to read it?
Is it by that wackjob that did the RE4 Wii review? Because personally I think 6/10 is bullshit.
Seems a little harsh - I'd have said a solid 7. It's good but it's not *that* good. -

Oddly I didn't have any probblems with the Mimi thing. Bought my copy on Friday so it shouldn't be something that's limited to the first batch.
It doesn't crash the first time you speak with Mimi. If you explore all the rooms though and then go back to her, she has a different dialogue path along the lines of "Oh that's odd, I'm sure she was there..." and that's where the game freezes. If you don't speak to her after the initial set of dialogue then you won't encounter this bug.
So far, this game is very 8/10 for me, I'm really enjoying, far more than I thought I would actually. I did like the previous games but found the turn-based combat became annoying. Since this game does away with that, I guess that's the reason I'm enjoying this more than the previous games. It actually feels more like a cerebral version of the older 2D Mario games with a silly story tagged on. Love it!

Registered 14 years ago***SUPER PAPER MARIO HELP NEEDED!!!***(Spoilers)
I've just finished Chapter 2-4 and am in Flipside. I've been told to go up the pipe where the bricks are blocking it and then go to a wall at the end.
Found this and got to the wall, pointed my remote at it and it just says there is a picture on it. Tried all of my different pixls on it and doesn;t do anything!
Can anyone help me as I really want to get to 3-1?
Thanks in advance! -
The Heart Blocks are always on the outskirts of Flipside. Just a little hint for you there... ;o) -

I've tried going 3-D and using all the pixls (for about half an hour!) and can't do it! -

Erm, you do... If I remember correctly, you need to blast away the blocks to allow you to access a pipe.

Is there another way to get to chapter 3? -
Doubt it. You don't even get back to Flipside if you don't find that Pixl.
