I don't know what people think when people talk about Star Trek but I personally love it ... well every series other than TOS because I found it cheesy beyond belief but the rich tapestry, the fictional history drew me in. Now... the whole Star Trek Universe seems on the verge of being reset back to TOS for crying out loud ... I feel sick

JJ Abrams to direct new ST project

Incidently, JJ Abrams haven't done anything good either so its kinda fitting he gets to direct starturd..

I thought the Vulcan episodes and Mirror Universe stuff in season 4 of Enterprise were awesome, it was just a shame that most of its viewers had been shed by then. The last episode was a shocker though, but no surprise as Berman and Braga (who'd been away from Enterprise for much of the 4th season) came back to screw it up.

Series 4 of Ent was good but TBH I stopped watching after Series 1 It feel to much like a reboot with to much licence to rewrite Trek lore as it went along. Series 4 was different as it tryed to work existing canon into the series.

This movie idea though stinks so bad I can't believe there gonna do it. Kirk and Spock recast at the academy... I feel like I wanna drill my brains out.

I kinda like teh early seasons of Alias for mindless background noise. I hate Lost. I do really like Mission Impossible 3 though, very good film, imo.

Er, even if the point being made is entirely valid.

I've got no problem with the series being 'reset' back to the days of ToS, as long as they have some fresh ideas for what to do with it. The number of episodes of Enterprise that rehashed old Trek episodes was completely shameful.
