Monday: 0 units
Tuesday: 0 units
Wednesday: 0 units
Thursday: 0 units
Friday: 20 units
Saturday: 26 units
Sunday: 0 to 26 units (depends) -
Ahh, a binge drinker. Is that why you rarely post during the week? .gif)
Surely by now you've found a hangover cure though? -

There are no cures, just time. The liver can only process one unit per hour or something. Usually to tired to bother posting in the week, but I do regularly read the forum in the week via iphone and such. They blocked eurogamer at work after two warnings, so used my mates pc for a bit and then he got a warning, now every pc here is eurogamer blocked. They expect me to do some work or something. -
I feel horrible. -

Registered 20 years agoI've come to the conclusion that hangovers only really happen to me when they will have the most effect.
I've also noticed I can drink x amoount at home from bottles and cans and feel fine while z amount from the tap will make me feel awful the next day.
At least with summer you can go outside into the garden and do some work for a few hours and sweat it all out. When I've found the motivation to try it I've found sweating it out really work. Especially if you replace the lost fluids with water for the first hour and beer for the second. -

Registered 11 years agoI drink steadily and only drink the same thing - it's the only way I can drink and not feel too bad the next day. Normally it's just a bit tiredness. But I always have ibuprofen to hand just in case.
That and lots of water until I go out again.gif)
Today is weird though - I must have had about 8 pints since yesterday from around 5pm till about 11, and today I'm as bright as a button.
Random though init, and catches you out now and again -

Why wouldn't you be? That's not enough booze to give a child a hangover. -

Registered 18 years agoIgnore him, it's just P_F trying to be the big I am. IME, hangovers can occur after relatively small amounts of booze and is largely dependant on other factors - such as food, other fluid intake and amount of sleep.
Day 2 of my hangover from Sat night. I am officially old.

Registered 11 years agoFunnily enough, I notice that when I'm feeling rough the next day, it's always 4pm that the veil lifts slightly and I feel more human again

Being a proud alcoholic really *isn't* impressive btw.
Not an alcoholic or trying to be the "Big I am" - it just annoys me when people say they don't get hangovers only to discover they don't drink that much. Drink 15 pints of ale and then tell me you don't feel it in the morning. -
They "don't drink that much"? 8 pints in one evening isn't much?
And who the fuck would even want to drink 15 pints of ale, besides total fucking dickheads? -

People who drink 15 pints are dickheads? Not really, it's just a case of what you're used to. Also, if I'm out for 12 hours I don't want to make 8 pints last that long - the maths doesn't work. -
He was out for 6 hours, you idiot. Not 12. -

Everyone I've ever seen in a pub has issues then. Almost everyone drinks that much. -

Registered 14 years agoWent through a relatively modest 3 beers and 2 bottles of red on sat night. Ended up re-decorating the bathroom at 3 in the morning with a nice shade of chunky blood red vomit. My ocd kicked in and I proceeded to clean the mess up for the next hour or so until my gf wandered in and found me sat bollock naked and cross legged in the corner wiping down the tiles with a sheet of stringy kitchen roll. Thankfully she was laughing too much to find a camera.
I didnt get up yesterday.
I still feel like shit today. -

2 bottles of red would floor me. A bottle, maybe an extra glass on top tends to be more than enough.
