I'm glad this thread popped up. I only really listen to 1UPYours and Russel Brand's podcast, which are both awesome by the way.

What podcast download software do people recommend? I did use creative's zencast software to go with my zen, but it's always been flaky and this week stopped working altogether, despite an uninstall/reinstall.

I'd like it to auto-download new episodes, auto-delete old ones, and sync with a music device. Anyone got any faves?

Ive pimped it on the group but if you are into star trek, 'Make it so' is pretty funny.

Two big star trek fans who arent afraid to say 'that was shit'.

I do it when I'm gaming, as long as it's a simple game. You really can't do it while working as yyou're trying to understand what is being said and what your reading at the same time. Probably impossible for the vast majority of people.

I just cant do it, and believe me I have tried. Music is fine, I have music on more often than not while Im working, especially if its design stuff but podcasts just demand to much attention, well the good ones anyway.

I have listened to some instructional ones though, which I was using to follow through as a tutorial.

Just been listening to the Fabric podcast where basically they get a random DJ and other cheeky chappys from the music industry to play msuic thats influenced them. Some episodes are hit & miss but theres a few top tunes hidden for those who dig deep.

I recommend the world football phone in, a genuinely intelligent discussion of football, at least from the global 'experts' and the host Dotun Adebayo, even if the people who phone in are sometimes a bit strange (what with it being broadcast at three in the morning on a friday night). It's a decent listen on my trips to college at least, and worth subscribing to on itunes.
