I'm missing John Robins and Elis James at the moment. Can't wait for their 5Live shows start at the end of the month.
The 5Live podcast has carried their Radio X show over almost seemlessly which is a relief.

The 5Live radio audience doesn't sound too keen on them though.

I assume Dan Carlin's Hardcore Histories have been recommended here. They're the best thing I've listened to by a long way on podcast.

Dan Ayckroyd on Joe Rogan. Has this fucker always been so crazy? Entertaining bobbins, but the guy believes EVERYTHING.

He needs to be for this one. He's the voice of reason here.

At the halfway point all is explained. Apparently, Ayckroyd's family had a "Family Medium" when he was a kid and his experiences with the paranormal inspired him to write Ghostbusters. He's a proper mental.

Holy shit. When he was working on Dragnet, he bought a house where he thinks he was sexually advanced upon by a ghost in bed.

At about 1 hour 55 if you want to embrace the crazy.

He seems so level headed to be this deep.

Weirdly, and thanks to Joe Rogan, I've started listening to and enjoying the meat eater podcast, by the hunter Steve Rinella. I'm not even a hunting fan but it's weirdly interesting to listen to, and covers a lot of issues.

I know some people think hunting = always bad, but I'm inclined to disagree with this form of hunting. He's more of a conservationist than I.

Also, and entirely different, All Killa No Filla is often hilarious, though it sometimes - not often but just occasionally - becomes a bit grating when Rachel and Kiri bollock on. It's a fine line between hilarious and tedious.

Yeah, he has a long and storied history of being on another planet.

Have a Google for 'ghost smashers', the thing Ghostbusters was before someone sane got hold of it.

Ackroyd seems to be overly credulous regarding personal testimony and photos and what not. He seems to want to believe everything and considers it a kind of fun. Rogan does a reasonable job of providing a counterpoint to his credulity. It was a fun old listen regardless.

Been listening to the quantum mechanics guy on latest Joe Rogan. Wish I was intelligent enough to work in that field, it must be fucking fascinating.

The Ron Burgundy podcast is pretty funny if you like Will Ferrell's shtick.

    Any Tims in here?

I've been listening to the Hello Internet podcast for about a year- pretty traditional two dudes talking format, very popular among the tech geeks at my work. They talk about flags, paper straws, voting systems, Apple products, penguin adoption, Star Wars and pretty much anything else. The ad breaks are a bit more frequent than some other podcasts I listen to but I find it a nice easy thing to put on while I'm commuting or doing household chores (added bonus of no swearing so I can have it on loudspeaker while the kids are around).

I also try to catch Remainiacs when I can, although it sometimes seems like once it's been up 24 hours it's already out of date

Yeah I'll say it again for the new page. Anyone that's not listened to gossipmongers before needs to. Possibly the funniest pod I've heard.

I didn't realise cheapshow was a podcast. I know of the guys from digistiser and that they have a youtube channel. I'll check it out!

Anyone else listening to the Gossipmongers podcast?

It's purile, frequently disgusting and 99% of it is absolute horseshit, yet every episode is guaranteed to make me roar with laughter.

Yeah I'm a big fan of Gossipmongers, as you say must of them are ridiculous but still very funny.

New Louis Theroux podcast is worth a listen if anyone is after something new to listen to.

Gas it out, for those who miss MotoGP. It's on itunes ect but I've been using an app called Podbean.

Some very honest opinions especially from Scott Redding talking about racing for Aprillia in MotoGp but NSFW or kids.

David OíDohertyís Isolation podcast on the Second Captains feed is brilliant. The free feed has two or three per week but theyíre daily if you pay

Also James Acasterís Perfect Sound for the BBC should be class too

Can't believe your post was the first time I'd heard of this podcast. Only listened to two episodes so far but being creasing with laughter through them!

Along with every other dickhead whoís lost their job under lockdown, Iíve made a podcast. Thought some of the old timers on here might be interested, maybe? Possibly? Probably not.

@thedaveeyres good for you. May the internet bestow many fine internet monies on your head. I will give it a listen though, it looks interesting.

I was thinking of doing a music podcast too, we recorded one but my collaborators had to work or spend their whole time trying to find a job so it just kind of fizzled out. Unfortunately.

An appreciation of Ariel Pink gets a listen from me!

Edit - And your first episode is about Terror Twilight, great stuff.
