Registered 15 years agoApparently 'Nokia has started shipping the Nokia N76 to key European, Asian and Middle Eastern markets.'
Anyone any idea what this means for the UK time-wise? -

Registered 18 years agoprobably a month to get to operators plus a bit of time for their approval - some networks quicker than others. -

Registered 15 years agoYippee! Getting the n76 through the post tomorrow! Shame it's only the black one cos the fella on the phone knew nothing about there being a red version.
I may post my opinions, I may not. -

Registered 19 years agoI thin you did alright there, the red one looks a bit girly to me. I'm assuming you don't have boobs.
I wouldn't mind hearing what you thought of it.

Registered 15 years agoI'm a man, though I'm also a Liverpool fan & my fave colour is red which made it a selling point to me.
Nah, I think the red looks alright. I do not have boobs, just wish I did. -

Registered 15 years agoOkay. Initial thoughts:
Nice. I'm used to Nokia's as my last, oooh, 3 or 4 phones have been Nokia's so getting around it for me is a piece of piss. It's all set up as you'd expect. All the functions you'd expect from a high-end n-series Nokia. Screen very good & clear, operating buttons all in the right place (though I'll have to get used to the lesser feel of button depression whilst texting etc.)
It's slenderness is a great joy to me as my last phone (N80) was in comparison, a brick. Although approximately 1cm longer, I hardly feel it in my pocket. I've ordered a crystal clear hard case (excellent - highly recommended) to protect it against scratches/wear & tear so I'll see what difference in size this creates.
It's exterior functions (generally music & camera) are excellently formed. I'm expecting a 2gb micro SD card from Play.com so then I can start fiddling more with storage. I've also ordered a crystal clear hard case to protect it against scratches/wear & tear so I'll
My only gripe thus far is it's tendency to steal my fingerprints though I suppose if it gets nicked they could easily identify the culprit! I've not had it long enough to test it's battery length, but I don't expect too much from it (same with the N80).
Overall, very happy & recommended. -

Registered 19 years agoCool, thanks for that. I popped into the carphonewhorehouse earlier this week to try and check one out. When I asked about the N76 they looked at me as if I'd just burst into their house on christmas day and pissed on their kids. They then proceeded to tell me to come back in October, when it's released.

Huh? Vodafone got their shipment to sell on Thursday. Then again, I don't think CPW do Vody any more (not in their catalogue anyway. Don't know if that has owt to do with it.
May be worth trying a Vody shop? Tis a nice mobi though.
