Just out of curiosity, what do you get in the box (it seems to vary from operator - operator) Did anyone get a 1gb card? |

Registered 20 years agoIt varies. The most essential accessory to get is a car charger. Comes as standard with Vodafone. -

Registered 17 years agoGot mine this morning from o2, and it included a 1gb card. The Nokia site states that the N95 can use up to a 2gb card. -

No, just because the site states that it can only handle 2gb doesn't mean it's correct. It was written before 4gb cards were available, and doesn't take firmware updates in to consideration.
Plenty of people have 4gb cards working in N95's just fine. -

Well it was good while it lasted.
Anyone want to buy a 2GB memory card? -
My mate amazed me last night by showing me SkySports1 live on his n95. So I rumbled around the net this morning thinking 'Nice, Skysports package for only a fiver a month on my mobile'. Turns out the one fecking company that doesn't work with this is O2. Bastards! -

Went live a couple of days ago.
-New Welcome application
-New camera software and tweaks from the 8GB model
-Image processing algorithms have changed
-Long press on camera button launches camera if shutter is open
-New My Nokia SMS tips and mobile web portal system
-Demand paging (for ROM applications) with 30 plus MB free RAM after booting.
-Search 4.0 integration on standby screen.
-N-Gage game previews (FIFA, Asphalt) and portal/shortcut to upcoming N-Gage client, as in N81 and N95 8GB
-Nokia Music Store client, although the store server hasn’t been updated to handle the N95 yet
-Assorted other minor tweaks, along the same lines as the N95 8GB, with video ringtones, theme animations and a Circles Music Player visualisation. -

Registered 18 years agoI've just about had it with the N95.
I just can't take the miserable battery - it's ridiculous.
Left the house yesterday morning, with 4 bars, listened to my messages on the way to the tube, and had 1 bar left when I got there.
Purchased a brand new battery, with a full charge from Oxford street.
Had no GPS or 3G usage, just the odd call here and here, and it was flat by 4pm.
Fucking useless.
It's such a shame, as other than that, it's an absolute cracker of a mobile. -
Wow, that's insanely poor. Of course new batteries are generally at far from optimum performance until used and recharged a couple of times, but I remember when you got this phone and that's a bad place for the original battery to be in.
These days are there any phones that can do the sorts of theings the N95 does that have any sort of decent battery life beyond one waking/working day in them? -

Registered 16 years agoI listen to about 5 hours of music a day on my phone, and have to charge it every other night which isn't too shabby imo.
The camera is pretty sweet too, got some lovely shots last night of some models

Registered 16 years agoI would really like a N95 for Christmas, but not on a pay monthly contract. The only prepay N95 is on Amazon, and I was wondering if you people can re-assure me thats it is definitely on a Pay-as-you-go contract? The link is here - http://www.amazon.co.uk/Nokia-N95-Prepay-Mobile-Orange/dp/B000S0I6OO/ref=sr_1_6?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1196437073&sr=1-6 -

The battery is by far the worst thing about the N95, I just charge mine every other day and it's fine though....
Deem - That is really bad! Any way of checking to see if there is something wrong with your particular handset? -

It is big, and it is light, and I'd like to know if either of those things have changed. -

Oh it's not WHAT your saying, it's the fact that in every N95 thread created on here you wax lyrical about how much you hate it. Sorry but it grates after a while

All I did was ask if it was still big and quite light. I agree it's functions are rather tempting.
BUT IT'S SHIT.
Woops I did it again. -
