So yeah. I just got this and Zelda: Phantom Hourglass. Guess which one has barely been touched yet?

    :-((

Knowing Slitherlink, I assume Zelda has been neglected?

Foolish child, you shouldn't have purchsed anything at the same time as Slitherlink - didn't you read this thread first??

Well when you have 4 stars (or is it 5?) on one puzzle some strange value is increased. There is some other mode where you lose that again if you fail. I think it's some kind of time trial but I don't know for sure.

Ditto. Best £17 I've ever spent.

Theres a trimmed down version in the US, but its on a compilation, not the same game, and by all accounts a poor mans version.

Just get the JAP version, there really is so little text, and I think a few pages back in this thread someone posted a nice visual translation of the menus. There really is no need to understand them, as there is so little options.

I've finished! All 4 difficulty levels! Every puzzle (not max stars though). 1100 stars in total...

Just in time for zelda too...

    Congratulations!

I haven't played it for months, but you have just reignited my interest. I'm gonna get back into this very soon ...

I got stuck on an absolute bastard of a puzzle. I go back to it from time to time but still no dice.

That's a bastard when that happens. I'm gonna play it this evening, although I don't want to get too hooked - Phantom Hourglass is out today!

Hrm. Only 20 puzzles left. What am I going to do with my life once I have finished Slitherlink?

I got stuck on puzzle four of the hardest difficulty and haven't been back to it in ages. Damn fine game, but when you're stuck boy does it hurt!

I haven't played this since the last time I mentioned that I was going to play it on this very thread.

Hmmm, might well have a go at it tonight. I'm still on the third diffculty level iirc.

I finished Slitherlink today. Now I feel kinda empty. Nearly bought a PSP with Monster Hunter Freedom 2, but realised I wouldn't be able to play it with anybody else.

Anyway, a total of 974 stars, and a total play time (excluding retries) of 72h54m04s. o_O

Now available for sale / swapsies.

Did you add all the single times up together for total play time or is there a counter somewhere?

It just told me. 1154 Stars in 54h53m21s.

I don't know what to do on the shitter from now on. Maybe I should get Picross or so.

Picross doesn't cut it. I was in the same predicament, and Picross is comparatively "meh!".

What then? Planet Puzzle League? Reviews are great, but somehow I didn't like what I read.

Maybe it's time for some 'real' games again. Haven't played Etrian Odyssey yet.

I'm not playing this but the wife is - she's up to level 4, done the first couple of rows but the game won't unlock the rest of them - is this because she needs to do the other puzzles faster to get more stars?

Yeah, the unlocks are based on stars. Never had a problem where the next set didn't "unlock" in time.

    Mega-Bump!

After enjoying Hexcells from the Winter Steam Sale a lot, I decided to re-buy Slitherlink (after completing it once and trading it in an EG swap). It is still awesome!
