Registered 16 years agoWell when you have 4 stars (or is it 5?) on one puzzle some strange value is increased. There is some other mode where you lose that again if you fail. I think it's some kind of time trial but I don't know for sure. -

Registered 17 years agoTheres a trimmed down version in the US, but its on a compilation, not the same game, and by all accounts a poor mans version.
Just get the JAP version, there really is so little text, and I think a few pages back in this thread someone posted a nice visual translation of the menus. There really is no need to understand them, as there is so little options. -

That's a bastard when that happens. I'm gonna play it this evening, although I don't want to get too hooked - Phantom Hourglass is out today!

Registered 17 years agoI finished Slitherlink today. Now I feel kinda empty. Nearly bought a PSP with Monster Hunter Freedom 2, but realised I wouldn't be able to play it with anybody else.
Anyway, a total of 974 stars, and a total play time (excluding retries) of 72h54m04s. o_O
Now available for sale / swapsies. -

Did you add all the single times up together for total play time or is there a counter somewhere? -

Registered 17 years agoWhat then? Planet Puzzle League? Reviews are great, but somehow I didn't like what I read.
Maybe it's time for some 'real' games again. Haven't played Etrian Odyssey yet. -

Registered 20 years agoI'm not playing this but the wife is - she's up to level 4, done the first couple of rows but the game won't unlock the rest of them - is this because she needs to do the other puzzles faster to get more stars? -

Registered 17 years agoYeah, the unlocks are based on stars. Never had a problem where the next set didn't "unlock" in time. -
